”One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a while. They have a popular restaurant on site and a very nice roof top bar. The hotel is gorgeous and rooms are very chic and cozy. Most bars are walkable from this location too. Johnny helped check us in and was incredibly kind and created such a memorable experience for us. I have already recommended this hotel to others and will definitely stay again.”

”I was fortunate to stay at ROOST White House the 2nd day after the White House location had opened. The experience was entirely positive.The front desk staff was extremely friendly and assisted me with car parking via underground garage and directions to the room. The room itself was a 1 BR suite with kitchen / living area, large bathroom with walk-in shower, and a good sized bedroom. All furnishings were brand new and high-end. ”Although the hotel was very nice, the staff was the best part for our experience there. They were always there with excellent advice and help. Place is a bit pricey, but it was very comfortable and had some nice extras in the room like fruit sparkling water, etc. Be careful with the alcohol fridge, as if you only take out one to look at, it be charged to your account. The cost of a little wine bottle is 30 dollars. We made that mistake, but the staff quickly adjusted our bill.”

”I booked Hotel Lombardy wanting to experience something different and vintage and, I was not disappointed in the least. Room was very well furnished and all the amenities were well maintained. Hotel staff was also very cordial and greeted every time they came across. Check-in/check-out experience was also pretty smooth. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely consider it for our next trip to DC.”

"Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that. Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to Georgetown, decently safe although some shady people in the streets nearby. If you're considering taking this as a base to explore Georgetown, I'd recommend you to think again. "
