”I arrived arr. 1pm, much earlier than normal hotel checkin time. As I came from West coast USA, I was exhausted due to time difference and having not a good sleep before the day, just about to collapse. The young lady led me to a back room as my room-to-be was not cleaned yet. It was not a usual guest room, a kind of a special room with sofa. I just fell in sleep on the sofa until she came to get me. Because of that short sleep, I could get my normal sense back. This hotel is close to the sea....

”We spent a delightful six nights at Victoria House. The owner, Jan, was a gracious and very helpful host. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. No breakfast was served, but there are many excellent breakfast spots within a five minute walk. And the room came with ground coffee and a French press coffee maker, plus excellent snacks. The location within the old city walls and adjacent to the sea is perfect. ”

Breakfast selection plentiful and hot, evening meals superb & well priced.
