Here is the reply to my letter to the Host re horrid damp smell & no hot water:"Thank you for your message. Our team would have investigated the damp smell, as this typically originates from the air conditioners within the building and is usually an easy fix with a clean-out of the filters. This can occur quickly through the air conditioners, particularly on hot and humid days, which is why we offer for housekeeping to attend and rectify as soon as it’s reported.Regarding the hot water, this was a fault within the complex itself and not isolated to your apartment. Onsite management rectified the issue within a few hours, during which time all units in the building were affected unfortunately.Given that both matters were able to be resolved promptly once identified, we’re unable to offer a refund in this instance."We tried to get rid of the smell by leaving the sliding glass door open but that didn't work. The damp musty smell was not coming through the air conditioning unit because we had it turned off.The hot water ran out the morning we were leaving.The view of the habour is minimal. Mostly looking into the Hilton Hotel Rooms! The photos in the advertising are taken leaning out over the balcony.No parking onsite. Close by parking is extremely expensive. 10 minute walk to cheaper parking.The Host promises a 5 Star apartment. They even asked for a 5 Star Review of their room and that we should email negative comments separately!! That is so you never see the bad.
