The Space:

Welcome to "The Nest," a spacious and comfortable two-bedroom apartment in The Lakes Resort's well-maintained, gated community.

We've recently renovated and refurbished the apartment to make it a cozy and modern living space for our guests.



You'll love the well-sized living and dining area, with an office corner and a private balcony perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Cairns. Both bedrooms are furnished with premium king- and queen-sized beds, and we offer family-friendly amenities like a travel cot, highchair, children's cutlery, and a travel pram.



The Lakes Resort is an amazing place to stay, with a range of fantastic amenities for you to enjoy. Take a dip in one of the resort-style swimming pools, have a BBQ, or let the kids run around in the playground. The "Taste of Thai" restaurant and a cafe are at the doorstep.



"The Nest" has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. We've included high-quality appliances such as a washing machine and dryer, three TVs in the living and bedroom areas, a Nintendo Switch, a workspace with an adjustable standing desk and ergonomic chair, full air conditioning, a secure parking space, and a complimentary starter kit.



Our location is unbeatable, too - we're just a short walk from the Botanic Gardens, Esplanade, and Centenary Lakes and only minutes away from the Cairns Domestic and International Airport. And when you stay with us, you'll also have access to one of the resort's four pools and a tennis court. Plus, it's only a short walk to the botanical gardens and dining district of Edge Hill.

Getting Around:

The best way to get around is by Car or Uber, but you can easily spend a few days exploring the surrounding gardens. If you're planning to explore the area, consider travelling by car or Uber for a hassle-free experience. Additionally, don't miss out on the opportunity to discover the beautiful gardens nearby, which can easily keep you captivated for a couple of days

🧹 Housekeeping

Daily cleaning is not included in your stay. A mid-stay clean can be arranged for an additional fee if you’d like. Extra towels are also available on request (small fee applies).

🎒 Luggage

Unfortunately, we’re unable to store luggage on site due to insurance restrictions. For secure storage, we recommend using Stasher, available in Cairns CBD.
