A beach view apartment overlooking the beach and the Atlantic Ocean, Foz do Arelho offers two worlds in one: waves, sea views and sunsets on one side, and the Lagoa de Óbidos (a calm nature-filled lagoon) on the other — within easy walking distance down the hill.

A beachside location on the Silver Coast, with the beach and the Lagoa de Óbidos just a 5-minute walk down the hillside.

Foz do Arelho has several leisure strengths: Extensive sandy beach, seaside walkways, cafes with views, stunning natural landscapes and pedestrian lanes along the beach and lagoon.

Various activities and water sports available in the area: Vela, windsurf, kitesurf, paddle.

Foz do Arelho is halfway between the bathing areas of Peniche (15 km), São Martinho and Nazaré (20 km).

It is worth visiting the medieval town of Obidos (15 km), the spa town of Caldas da Rainha (10 km), the historical sites of Batalha (70 km) and Alcobaça (40 km) and several other beaches in the region.

It is just 95 km from the airport and city of Lisbon and 80 km from the tourist religious center of Fátima.

Caldas da Rainha, the nearest town, a 10-minute drive, has all the services, shops and malls you need.

Caldas da Rainha bus to Foz do Arelho all the time, 30 minutes of journey time.

Car rental is recommended in this area of Portugal.

By car from Humberto Delgado Airport, Lisbon: 1 hour and 15 minutes on the A8 Highway (toll highway).

Free parking: several spaces inside the condominium, right at the door.

We must send this written information through Airbnb chat.
Or, if you prefer, and in your consent, send photos of your documentation to my contact.

The safe code with the key will be made available as soon as this information is received, as required by law.


2) Smoking is not allowed indoors.
We ask for your understanding, as smoke leaves odors that are difficult to remove from the space.

If you want to smoke, you can do so on the balconies, with the windows open, or go outside the house - which is on the ground floor - and enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful sea view!


3) Residential area = mutual respect
We are in a quiet area and have an excellent relationship with the neighbors.
We therefore ask that between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. you avoid making noise that could be disturbing. We are counting on your common sense!


4) Are you bringing a pet?
Let us know in advance so we can get everything ready for your little friend.
Make sure he does his business on the lawn in front of the house and, of course, pick up the waste and put it in the container.


5) Barbecues are not allowed
For security reasons and condominium rules, barbecues are not allowed anywhere. It is not allowed inside the house, on the balconies, on the lawn or in the outdoor common space.


6) Visits during the stay
Visitors are only allowed with prior authorisation from the host, on a case-by-case basis.
Without this authorisation, visitors may be considered additional guests, not included in the original reservation, and incur extra costs charged via Airbnb.
Naturally, when receiving authorised visitors, common sense and moderation in the use of the house is expected.
