Welcome to the Foothills Gallery House, located just 45 minutes from Kananaskis and an incredible base to explore the Foothills!

In our home, we hope you experience the true foothills lifestyle. We have carefully curated the space to showcase local artisans and support small businesses in our community.

After parking in your designated space on the parking pad, you’ll enter the home using the keyless lock. Upon arrival, you’re greeted by a crocus painting—a local flower that signals the arrival of spring in the foothills and, for us, a reminder that good things lie ahead.

Our kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee station featuring mugs made in Calgary, locally roasted beans, and a starter set of essential cooking oils and spices. For extended stays, guests are invited to replenish supplies to suit their preferences and length of visit.

The living room is a cozy nook with a small bookshelf filled with selections to help you enjoy your stay, along with peek-a-boo views of the Rockies. (Please note: the mountain views are currently partially obstructed by a nearby, visible construction site—see photos.)

The deck is ready for you to enjoy sunny afternoons and outdoor dining. Our neighbour’s dog may occasionally say hello if you’re outside; if he gets a little too chatty, his owners will bring him back inside.

While the home does not have air conditioning, fans are provided, and we find the space remains comfortable by taking advantage of the cooler evening breezes.

Upstairs, you’ll find a relaxing bonus room complete with cozy blankets, pillows, and a 65” TV with access to Prime and Netflix. A selection of board games is available for family time, and if work calls, there’s also a desk with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi.

The bedrooms are furnished with Endy mattresses, hotel-quality bedding, and blackout curtains to ensure a restful night’s sleep. After a day of exploring, enjoy the spacious shower in the primary ensuite, or take advantage of the convenient upstairs laundry.

While we’ve had the opportunity to thoughtfully curate the interior of the home, the exterior remains a blank canvas as we await final landscaping approvals from the Town. You may notice some daytime traffic and activity, as this is a newly developed area with ongoing construction, including a home being built next door.

That said, evenings are quiet and peaceful—perfect for unwinding after a full day. You’ll also have the convenience of parking your vehicle in your dedicated driveway space.

This home is the upper unit of a duplex. You have access to the top two floors of the house, a parking spot on the parking pad out front, and the deck area.
