This charming 80m², 2-bedroom accommodation in Madeira is the ideal retreat for families and friends seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

The accommodation is situated on the first floor of the house, accessible via stairs, and features shared exterior spaces with other residents.

Inside, the living room invites you to unwind with a plush sofa, a TV for your favourite shows, and a dining table that comfortably seats four.

The fully equipped kitchen includes all the essentials for preparing delicious meals, such as a stove, oven, microwave, and a full set of cookware and utensils. For your convenience, a washer, drying rack, and ironing equipment are also provided.

Step out onto the balcony to find a cosy seating area, perfect for lounging and soaking in the serene views.

The master bedroom boasts a luxurious double bed and a private balcony furnished with a table and chairs, offering the perfect spot for morning coffee while admiring the stunning surroundings. The second bedroom, designed with versatility in mind, features two single beds, making it ideal for children or friends travelling together. All beds are dressed in hotel-quality linens to ensure maximum comfort.

The bathroom is well-appointed with all the essentials, including fresh towels and complimentary toiletries, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay.

This charming area offers a variety of experiences for visitors, from scenic trails to historical and cultural landmarks. One of the highlights of the region is the network of Levada trails—traditional irrigation channels accompanied by walking paths. These trails provide an excellent opportunity to explore Madeira's lush landscapes and enjoy breathtaking views. For those seeking relaxation, Calheta Beach, situated about three kilometres southeast of Estreito da Calheta, is a prime destination.

The nearby parish of Prazeres adds a cultural dimension to the visit with its art gallery, showcasing works by Madeiran artists. History enthusiasts can explore traditional distillery equipment, which offers a fascinating glimpse into the region’s agricultural heritage. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of activities to enjoy. Jardim do Mar, located about five kilometres northwest, is a hotspot for surfers, particularly during the winter months when the waves are at their best. For those interested in marine life, boat tours departing from Calheta provide a chance to see whales and dolphins in their natural habitat.

Estreito da Calheta also boasts a selection of excellent dining options, including local favourites like Joe’s Bar and Portinho in Jardim do Mar, where visitors can enjoy authentic regional cuisine.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Madeira Airport is a 45-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
