Callands-Gretna Hotellit

”The place was very plain. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The only complaint I have is that the front smell like wet dog. I didn’t realize when I booked here that they allow pets.”

”There was nothing unique about this property the walls are paper thin couldn’t get any sleep it’s like the person is in the room with you furthermore there was black mold on the walls and the please has a real bad smell would not recommend anyone to stay there I was just there 10/24/2026 I wish I could upload the pictures”

”Great experience!”

”I've stayed in alot of hotels and motels over the years working construction. This hotel was horrible, extremely dirty, just gross place. Definitely not worth the 100.00 dollars just because it's by a lake. Just avoid this place. Very dirty.”

”Breakfast very good”

”Was in Danville for a concert and didn’t want to drive afterwards. The room was nicely decorated and the king bed was comfortable. The hot tub is only seasonal like the pool. It would be nice to have a hot tub open. The casino was very smoky for our liking - overall we enjoyed our time in downtown Danville after checking out and visiting a great sports restaurant Kickback Jacks for lunch before driving back home”

”Everyone should stay here! Such a beautiful boutique hotel! Rooms are huge! Beds are great! Bathroom floor was heated! Shower was clean and the towels were fluffy! There are walkable eateries that are amazing! They have a van service to take you to and from Caesar’s Casino! It’s also dog friendly!”

”Lots of people smoking weed around the property. Rooms were decorated with very cheap furniture.”

”They had an issue with their listing on Expedia. I had screenshot and everything. Expedia wouldn't refund me, because the hotel wouldn't. Unacceptable, when I had screenshot of the issue. Very unprofessional. Front desk employee was not helpful at all and very condescending. No help whatsoever. They are only after your money. I should dispute the charge. I will NEVER book through a 3rd party. Will NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER HOLIDAY INN. Wish I could give 0 stars. Do yourself a favor and stay,...

”The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very clean however the curtains wouldn’t close completely and had holes in them. Everything in the room worked: heat, ac, lights and plenty of hot water with good pressure. All in all worth the price compared to much higher hotels in the area if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep and don’t care about the frills.”

”The door to our room had a 1/2” gap on the latch side and an inch at the bottom. The A/C worked but it blew in the smell of cigarette and smoke. The curtains were held open with blue painters tape. The room was clean and looks like they are in the process of modernizing but it was definitely an unfinished room.”

”Everything wartime, except they ran out of breakfast food.”

”the property was very good. the only problem i had was everything was to high tech for a person that is not used to all the new technology. I would stay there again walking distance to the casino.”

”Room was spacious. Property well maintained.”
