”This was a short, one night stay on a cross-Italy journey. Wonderful hotel and hosts and breakfast is delicious. Spotless and eco-friendly and set in nature, and near city center and Mount Cammarata. The host’s father is so kind - we so appreciated his conversation over breakfast. ”

”The room was outstanding and our doors opened up to the terrace that overlooked the Duomo. In the mornings this is where the extra special breakfast was served. Local pies with vegetables, salami, cheese and fresh fruit. If you like gran ok and yoghurt this was also available. The pomegranate juice, cappuccino and espressos were delicious. ”Stayed for 3 nights in a sea view room. Everything was clean, fresh and as new, and we had our own terrace with a lovely view towards the coast. The rooms are situated up a steep hill, but otherwise was conveniently close to the main strip via Atenae in the heart of the old town. Violetta went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided us with all the information we needed to see the best of Agrigento. Would highly recommend.”

”We booked this hotel some time ago for a stay while attending a wedding nearby. A few days before our arrival, the hotel contacted us to ask what time we expected to check in. When I advised that we would be arriving at approximately 9:30pm, I was informed that there would be a mandatory €60 late check-in charge. I disputed this, as I had not seen any mention of such a charge when booking. The response was surprising, with the suggestion that if we were arriving that late, perhaps we should stay...
