  • Welcome to your perfect home away from home! This stylish one-bedroom apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing and convenient stay. The spacious bedroom features a king-sized bed, ensuring restful nights after a day of exploring.

    The sleek bathroom includes a walk-in shower for a spa-like experience. Cook with ease in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a gas range, cookware, dishes, and all the essentials for dining in.

    Enjoy the evenings on the shared backyard patio with a propane grill and firepit.

    Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this thoughtfully designed space offers comfort, convenience, and a touch of home.

    Parking and building entrance will be shared with guests from the third floor unit. It’s self check-in with two separate codes. One to get into the building (shared with other guests) and one to enter the second floor (only shared with you).

    This is a charming older home that’s been converted into a triplex. Please keep in mind that sound can travel a bit more easily between units than in modern construction. You may hear footsteps or voices from neighboring guests. To help everyone enjoy their stay, we ask that all guests observe quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, please keep noise to a minimum both inside your unit and in shared spaces. Thanks for your understanding and for helping us keep the home peaceful for everyone!

Loved that there was a washer and dryer. Really appreciate how clean it was and that we were allowed one hour early check in.

Just the right size for 2 of us to stay while visiting our MTU student. Very clean and cute!This was on second floor of a house, so must go up some steps through a side door.

The apartment was clean, the appliances were nice to use and I slept well on the bed. I would recommend King on Union.We had to shovel snow to get in, but that is expected for the UP.

First, on the check-in process. I missed an email in my box two days before we left on the trip, That one explained what we needed to do in order to gain entry into the unit. That left me calling in order to do so. Response was excellent and timely, so overall, I need to give myself an "error" on the check-in. The location for our purpose, to get a personal overview on the history of copper mining on the peninsula, was outstanding. We executed our daily plan without much traffic or chaos, and we enjoyed interactions with the locals as we asked our dumb questions. My only surprise about our stay is related to the television. It appears we would have been able to obtain access to live TV by using our user IDs and password for our TV providers. However, we didn't think to have them with us and were unable to do so. It's not a big deal, as we weren't desperate to see it anyway. But it would have been helpful to keep up with the news and sports of the day. All in all, we were completely satisfied with our first entry into the VRBO world. Many thanks!

Overall a great stay. Clean, comfortable and a convenient location to explore the Peninsula!Only issue was noise from the major road close impacting sleeping. Maybe a noise machine would help?Thanks for a lovely stay.

We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. Apartment was clean, relaxing and nicely decorated. Would stay again!!

Great base camp!

Went to copper harbor one day and the porkies the next! Great spot to stay in the middle of the two places! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Very cute remodel. We stayed on floor 2 of 3- so other guest’s noises were often heard. Host was very quick to respond to questions and issues.

Everything looked exactly like the pictures. Perfectly clean and cozy. It was close to the downtown of Laurium. So we walked to breakfast every morning. Calumet is just on the other side of the highway and it was easy to get to the supermarket, Copper World or get a cup of coffee/tea. I would definitely again!

Nice place for Keweenaw exploration

Nice, clean apartment with everything you need. The renovations are great - very comfortable and attractive. The kitchen was perfect for us - great appliance including a gas stove! Location is easy to access not far off the highway making trips around the area quick.

Nicely remodeled 2nd floor apartment and tastefully furnished. All new kitchen appliances including a Kuerig coffee maker. Comfortable bed. Nice rain-shower. Washer and dryer are not in the apartment (didn’t ask owner where they were located). Would definitely stay again.

Great apartment near everything

This place was very nice, everything you might need. I think it had central A/C, but there was also a window unit in the bedroom. It is a little annoying to have to type in two codes to exit and enter and it is near 41 so there is road noise and walking to Calumet is a little far. So this isn't super rustic or anything, but you can walk across the street to a gas station market so that is convenient.

Calumet Comfy

We spent 3 nights sightseeing in Calumet and the Kewanaw peninsula. The apartment was brand new. Everything worked great. Plenty of space for 2. Brand new appliances. European style bathroom shower. Given the sunny weather we wished we’d had a deck or a couple of lawn chairs to soak up some sun but otherwise a wonderful place.

Great place

This was an old house pretty recently redone. It was nice. Everything was very clean and up to date. We asked if there was a grill available and they set us up with one. The only complaint we had was there weren't very good window coverings and some of the screens were missing. It got a little uncomfortable in the evening with the sun coming in. It gets very cool at night so it wasn't uncomfortable very long. I would still highly recommend this place.

We were moved to another apartment last minute as the owner over booked. New place was nice but not quite finished in my opinion. No curtains, mirror not attached to wall in bathroom, no toilet paper holder, no end tables, no condiments for the coffee they had, front door had no cover at all- could see strait in the whole place.
