”The picture of the pool area is misleading. I can understand construction on the slide but the upkeep for the rest of the area was very poor. The outdoor patio had overgrown weeds making it not appealing to hang out in area. The restaurant/bar area was closed and when I asked staff they said it’s been closed for a couple months since the change of hotels, I feel like at some point it should have been updated then on the website.”

”I am a regular customer of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Grand Rapids Airport and have stayed at this property multiple times this year, totaling approximately 40 days. While the accommodations themselves have been satisfactory, I have experienced repeated billing issues that have been extremely difficult to resolve. I have emailed the on‑site manager several times and have not received a single response. When I was physically at the hotel, I was able to get one incorrect charge corrected,...

”There was an issue with my check in. Apparently my first and last name were reversed by either Expedia or the hotel and the clerk was confused and took a few minutes to proceed with the check on.”

”Property is newer and well maintained. The rooms are spacious. There is a shuttle available to the airport and runs as early as 4 am. The staff was very helpful.”

”Everything was beautiful high end new and just a lovely place to stay. The only concern was the roof top bar when chairs moved across the floor you could hear it in the room. However the high end bed, pillows, and linens along with a quiet a/c made falling asleep so much easier than many places we’ve stayed before. Thank you!”

”If it was on the water, with a balcony, is the only improvement I would suggest. Our room was clean and comfortable. The added living area was so nice. Staff was great! I would definitely recommend.”
