”There are not enough words to explain how disgusting and dirty and repulsive everything and that hotel was, the sheets were not clean. The bedspread was stained with human fluids. The TV remote control was broken. There was bugs on the sink, cigarette stains all over the tub. The toilet was dirty, and that was the first room we went into and then the second room was exactly the same however, the tack strip that attaches the rug in the threshold of the bathroom was exposed, and I stepped on it...

”The staff were great. The room was large and spacious. The bathroom was also large with a great shower. The back of the hotel was unkept and because of that there were a few bugs in our room. It was a good value for a quick stay just 2 nights. Free wifi and a large TV.”

”We spent the night after a wedding in nearby Northampton. It was a lovely place to return to at the end of a long day. We enjoyed our breakfast the following morning, both the buffet selections (especially the coffee cake muffins) as well as our conversation with staff member Kristen. We always try to support small businesses in the places where we travel and the Dasniel Stebbins House did not disappoint!”

”The accessibility was excellent, with convenient access to most major retail stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was decent, but the food selection could have been better. The menu was pretty repetitive, with scrambled eggs served every morning and no boiled egg option available. I would definitely stay here again. The room was very clean, the service was excellent, and the location was convenient and accessible.”

”This hotel is in a great location. The staff was nice and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Quiet location even though it’s on the main road. There was a nice pool and small gym area and a cute outdoor sitting space that was enjoyable in the later evening. A small bar/breakfast area if you needed it. Great hotel for a night or two.”

”The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”
