The Space:

The largest of four restored stone houses in the Watermill complex, sitting directly on the banks of the River Coura. Four bedrooms — three with queen beds and one with twin beds — each with its own full bathroom. Open-plan living area with river views, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and direct access to private gardens leading down to the river beach.



Original granite walls, walnut hardwood floors and exposed timber beams throughout. Modern comforts include Wi-Fi, heating, and air conditioning in select rooms.



Outside: shared gardens, BBQ area, sun terraces, and a private path to the river beach.

Vilar de Mouros is a quiet riverside village in the Minho region of northern Portugal, famous for hosting the country's oldest music festival. The River Coura offers excellent swimming in summer.
