”The hotel was nice and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good. Obidos is a quaint, fairy tale town, but it does get extremely crowded in the day. It is quiet in the morning and at night after the tourist buses leave. We needed a base to explore the region, and staying in Obidos was a great solution for us.
Parking - I read reviews that parking was hard to find. It was not hard as there is a big lot by the aqueduct right when you enter the town. The hotel went out of...

”This is a very special property. Upon check in, we were told the legend of Pedro and Innes, a tragic and romantic story that allegedly took place here. This set the tone for our exploration of this grand and historic accommodation. The public lounges are exquisite, and the library is full of old-world charm. The gardens are moody and extensive, well worth a stroll.
We dined in both their restaurants, and the service and food were flawless.
