Apple Hillin valkoinen talo - kaivostyöntekijä

Vietä viikonloppu maassa tällä romanttisella lomalla kahdelle! Tämä äskettäin kunnostettu (2020) vanha kaivosmieshytti sijaitsee Apple Hillin sydämessä, Sierra Nevadan juurella, ja sieltä on näkymät pienelle niitylle ja purolle. Kävele läheisillä omenafarmeilla, panimoilla ja viinitiloilla tai rentoudu vain takakannella ja nauti maisemista. Käy historiallisessa Placervillessä, se on taidegallerioita, ravintoloita, antiikkiliikkeitä ja paljon muuta! Lautta, hiihto, kajakki tai tutustu vain 40 hehtaarin maatilareitteihimme! (Olemme lemmikkiystävällisiä. Rajoita kaksi suurta lemmikkieläintä (15 kiloa +) tai 3 pientä (<= 15 kiloa) lemmikkieläimiä)

Ominaisuuksiin kuuluu maalaismainen navetta-makuuhuone, shiplap-keittiö ja (kaikki laatta) hevonenpysyvä kylpyhuone. Mukavuuksiin kuuluvat queen-vuode, maalaistyyliset huonekalut, romanttinen valaistus, täyspitkä seinäpeili ja TV. Ranskan ovet, jotka avautuvat kannen ulkopuolelle, näkymä niitylle. Keittiössä on kaikki tarvitsemasi ateria (kaasuliesi, uuni ja mikroaaltouuni) ja kaikki astiat. Se sisältää myös jääkaapin ja jääpalakoneen. Kylpyhuoneessa on 100% lato puukeraaminen laatta, yläpuolella "sadesuihku", pesuallas ja wc. Suuri takakansi voidaan porteilla pitää lemmikkieläimet kannella. Ulkokalusteisiin kuuluu bistropöytä ja tuolit, Adirondack-tuolit, propaani-BBQ. Niityllä pieni palokammio iltapaloille. (Tuo Bluetooth ja muodosta yhteys kodin sisäänrakennettuun äänijärjestelmään.)

Traffic noise
Beautiful surroundings. Decorated nicely, ambiance was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Couldn’t go outside to eat breakfast, cause sprinklers drenched the porch. Sprinklers hitting window while sleeping, on corner lot of two busy roads, you will need ear plugs to drown out trucks and motorcycles. Otherwise we had a great time.

Weekend escape
This was our second stay at this adorable miners cabin. We had such a nice stay the previous year that we wanted to come back again. The win here is the property and location that this cabin is situated on. It is a completely private setting with a really nice outdoor space on the back deck to relax and enjoy a glass of wine with the fire table and fairy lighting that extends over the many acres of green grass and forest. The cabin is extremely clean and has every amenity that you need to be able to cook and store food and drinks. We visited several local breweries while we were there that were no more than a mile away from the cabin. Easy booking, good communication with host and an awesome weekend getaway!!

Coziest Cabin
This was our second trip to the White House. We enjoyed it just as much as our first trip. We hoped for a nice sunny weekend to enjoy the beautiful outdoors but Mother Nature had different plans. It rained then snowed! However, it didn’t take away from our weekend. The cabin has everything you need should you choose to stay put and enjoy the property. The house is walking distance to apple orchard stands and a quick drive to many wineries. We had the best stay and can’t wait to return again!

Unique setting
For anyone who knows the history surrounding this part of the country, gold was discovered arounf 1849 and it changed thousands of peoples lives. So to actually live in a real miners house, well you couldn't have asked for a better place. Thank you Gorden for keeping history alive. By the way the bathroom is unbelievable, hats off to you!

While located by two main roads traffic wasn't much of an issue and also helped us judge road conditions by speed. After the usual commute times it was very quiet and the wildlife appeared-deer, squirrels and lots of birds everyday. We had a small dog with us and he loved his daily walks and the enclosed deck. We live in the woods and for our twice-yearly trips usually stay in less populated areas like this with resources nearby. The little cottage was perfect for us, even on the first two rainy days. We don't spend much time indoors and the 3 sunny days, while chilly, were perfect for hiking. We were already familiar with the area, she having lived in Placerville and I because of my childhood raised wild:) We will be back!!

This is our second time here, we really love it!! Gordon remembered the kind of wine we liked. The White House is a peaceful and romantic getaway. We spent most of our time outside, the deck is large, the furniture comfortable and the lights at night are amazing. Don’t hesitate to book some time here, you will not regret it

Don't give it a second thought
This place is absolutely amazing!! It is on the small side so just be efficient but it has so many cool features, especially the shower, which I had in my own house. The location is central to wine tasting, hiking, or just relaxing. We had a very relaxing time.

Relaxing and Rewarding Getaway
My stay at the Miner’s Cabin was rewarding and relaxing. I have family who reside in the Apple Hill area who I visit each year. In the past, I have stayed at a nearby motel, but this year I decided to look into a VRBO. The cabin provided a far superior experience. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck provided a peaceful place to enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape and a glass of wine. I look forward to returning to the cabin on future visits!

Beautiful and serene setting that created a picturesque getaway. Buffered by a creek with bushes and trees that surround a lawn which further enhances a quiet retreat atmospere. Perfect for a weekend of wine tasting
This property was exactly as described. We enjoyed the huge grassy yard and big deck with fire table, speakers and over head back yard lights. The cabin was quaint and well stocked. We liked the horse stall bathroom shower and open beam ceilings. Location, location, location! Easy to get to wine tasting, restaurants, or just relaxing with a glass of wine on the deck.

So lovely
We had such a relaxing weekend at the white house. such a serene, special property with so much to enjoy nearby. The cabin was in fantastic condition and so cozy - and having amazing cider and donuts in our backyard was just icing on the cake. We’ll be back soon!

Cabin Getaway
We loved our stay at the White House! My husband and I were looking for a getaway with our pups and the White House delivered. We had a wonderful time sitting on the deck, listening to music, grilling and enjoying a fire at the bottom of the property with the dogs. It was so relaxing, peaceful and fun to enjoy the outdoors. Gordon was very responsive and provided all the information we needed as well as personalizing our stay. The White House provided us with everything we needed. We brought our own groceries and only left for small outings with the pups. Since it was so lovely outside we grilled the entire time and the grill worked fabulously. The blue tooth sound system on the deck was awesome. The lights around the property and inside the white house were exceptional. Plenty of comfortable seating areas and ways to keep warm. The deck was enclosed which was really nice when we didn't want to keep our eyes on the dogs. The White House was very comfortable and well equipped. We will for sure be back as it was the perfect way to spend a long weekend. Thank you Gordon!

We spent several days in the Apple Hill area sampling the local wine, beer, and food. We had a short day trip to Eldorado National Forest hiking. The cabin is perfect for a couple looking to disconnect and relax. We spent more hours on the porch than anywhere. Mornings were filled with sunrise hummingbirds and others and evenings with a few deer. The small kitchen was great for two to cook but there is plenty of good food close and the markets. We used the gas grill for steaks. We were early for apples but maybe another time. Groceries are easy to get in Placerville. Thanks to our host for making it easy.

The perfect getaway
What a cute cabin surrounded by gorgeous property! The patio is perfectly set up with comfortable chairs to relax and enjoy the view. The ambiance of the outdoor lighting and fire pits made the evenings special. The host, Gordon, kindly left us a bottle of wine and filled the dogs water bowl with fresh water before we arrived to the property. We appreciate our fur children being welcomed as well. Thank you for helping make our weekend memorable!

Super relaxing
My German Shepherd and I enjoyed the very suitable cabin for a relaxing time . The big yard and woods, the little creek in the back of the property was my dog's favorite. The lights all over the yard at night made it super beautiful. I enjoyed the deck and cooking meals in the super cozy kitchen . Bed was very comfortable and I got very good sleep . Cars can be noisy but it didn't bother me. Loved hearing the coyote in the distance and the owl. Thank you for every detail . The bottle of wine and the dog bowl with fresh water was appreciated ! Indoor lighting and fireplace were so cute !! We enjoyed every minute because we never left the property. I just needed to relax and clear my head, so this place was perfect for it. I even got to write poetry again ! My dog wasn't interested in getting in the car when it was time to go ( me neither) I'm glad he enjoyed it too . He is my baby and I appreciate that he was welcomed too ! A million thanks !
