”Roatan Yacht Club is in principle a nice Motel-style of place. Location is terrible as the neighborhood is very shady. Pool is lot smaller than in the pictures it seems. Food however is very good. The best Club sandwich that we ever had. Drinks not too expensive and bar staff very helpful. Price is a bit upscale considering the place.”

”What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! ”

”If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”

”I think we knew it was 2 double beds, but it was way too small for 2 adults. The beds were rock hard. A queen with a mattress topper would be great. We needed a light blanket for nighttime, only had a sheet. Kitchen was lacking in what we would consider automatic. We cooked 2 dinners in. No frying pan, had to ask for coffee filters, no plug for the sink, no hot water in the kitchen, no strainer, no cheese grater, no corkscrew, no ice trays and most importantly did not include bottled water....
