”We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

”I have lost count of how often i have stayed at The Mariner's.....well into double figures over the past 18 months alone.
As a former native of Haverfordwest, i know the town exceptionally well. This is how I know how central The Mariner's location is.
The staff here are outstanding. The rooms generous, clean & comfortable. The place oozes a unique charm (it's 400 years old). The food is lovely with generous portions. The cooked breakfast is outstanding.

”The room was lovely and clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom had the best power shower of any hotel I’ve stayed in. The bar meals were really good too and there was just a nice atmosphere to the hotel and it’s in such a good location.”
