”Great location, close to Costco and many restaurants. We booked the hotel to take a shower after a long trail race in Mt Hood before flying back to Texas that night. The shower pressure is great, the room is clean, and the front desk staff is friendly and very kind (He was from Texas too!)!”

”Be aware that the property has rules that after 8 years working in an hotel and never hearing something as such, rules like no guests after 9pm and any guest must check in prior and show ID are enforced. I felt as if in a drug treatment center that I've paid $85 a night for as I was unaware of this fact and had one person come over one night out of the six I stayed, went to pay the $10 extra occupancy fee in the morning and was told that I broke the rules. Again, I was unaware those were rules...

”Worst place I’ve everr stayed in my entire life. Also nestled been treated with so much disrespect. Just to start off the manager wouldn’t let me check in cuz he thought I was a prosituite and tried to agree with me and say that I’ve stayed at his motel before. Ended getting an apology for that. But then he went on to say if I work the streets he would kick me out immediately. He likes to lurk in your window and see who’s in your place this place is ridiculous can’t have anyone at all over after...

”This motel has a handy location near Portland CBD and railway station. It's also easy accessible from the airport by light rail and street car. Big rooms and friendly personnel. Nice to get an early check-in.”

”The price is good and it is convenient to the Rose garden and the famous bookstore. But the parking was tight and the room was not very clean. It was not very easy for me to locate.”

”As you know, this is NOT a Marriott. It is very inexpensive and my 4 of 5 star review reflects that. My room was clean, as were the towels, sheets and other bedding. All of the plumbing worked well. The check-in guy was friendly and helpful. He let me see my room before I accepted it. The check-in sheet showed a price of $10 less than the price I paid on Expedia. The desk guy said that's because the hotel paid a commission. The I5 freeway adjoins the hotel and it is thus noisy, though...

”Clean and conveniently located hotel right next to I-5 highway. Everything was pretty much what you would expect from Holiday Inn Express. The only annoying thing were the uneven floors in several places. You felt like being drunk when walking as the floor was leaning in to one direction. Makes you wonder what may be causing it.”
