Welcome to Pastoral Vistas, our beautiful new home located in the lovely Candler countryside just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. This location is private and quiet, yet convenient to everything our area has to offer. There is so much to see and do in this area just west of Asheville. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

We love our open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and the deck with gas grill, outdoor seating and hot tub. The fenced back yard has a firepit and is perfect for dogs. You will love the well stocked kitchen with its granite tops and ample seating. The space is private with lots of natural lighting. The beds are all new and comfy, and the master suite is large and luxurious.

Explore the many local farms, take a trip up to Hot Springs or just enjoy a scenic drive along the miles of local roads. The Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest are all within about 20 minutes of the house. The first thing you will notice is pretty drive on your way here. Highways give way to suburbs, and then farms with open fields. The house has recently been renovated and everything inside is new. We love the open floor plan and vaulted ceiling that connects the living area with the kitchen, then takes you to the back deck overlooking a lovely fenced yard with pastoral views beyond. It has a good flow and conveys a sense of relaxation and comfort.

PET NOTE: Dogs only, no cats please.

Amazing - In So Many Ways

Let me start off with WOW!!! From the abundant and helpful communication of the property management to the ease of check in, to the property being amazing, and to the offers/benefits of activities to do, this 10-day stay was PERFECT!!! Great location that was serene, beautiful, and private. Easy to get anywhere you wanted after a short drive, that added to the comfort of being away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy the multitude of things that Asheville, and the area, has to offer. We weren't lacking for a thing and my fur-babies felt at home both inside and outside in the massive fenced in backyard. (A major perk for anyone with furry ones). We have stayed at numerous properties and this ranks as the best!!! We look to returning soon and Thank You For EVERTHING!!!

Hiking and Brewery Adventure

Had a great stay in this rural setting. Quiet, beautiful area. The house was clean, kitchen complete, beds were comfortable. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. I would recommend this VRBO to friends and family.

Wonderful Experience

The property is exactly as listed in photos, absolutely beautiful. It was like living is someone's home rather than rental property. The property manager was very responsive to all my questions about the property & as much as possible about the area. The location was both a blessing & distraction. It was quiet, minimal road noise & in the evening, only the sounds of nature & millions of stars on a clear night. However it was about a 12-15 minute drive to the main road & grocery. You get used to it. Only about 20 minutes to most eateries & downtown Asheville. We had family & friends visiting at intervals & everyone had a wonderful experience.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay at this house for a long weekend! Everything was just as described and the house was clean and welcoming. The beds were so comfortable! Our puppy loved the fenced in back yard. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Asheville!

Love This House!

This house was a wow, everything exceeded our expectations. Comfy beds and other furniture, spacious great room, hot tub with mountain view, rear deck to enjoy watching birds and morning hot air balloon rides go by. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook for our 2-week stay. Our puppy LOVED the fenced back yard. Did not use fire pit but saw wood was provided, nice! We worried the location in Candler was fairly remote, but it wasn't bad at all. It takes 10 minutes through winding roads to reach a highway to go anywhere, but once you're on the highway things are fairly close. We reached Biltmore & Asheville in 20 minutes or so from the house, and Great Smoky Mt Nat'l park in just over an hour. Also drove to Tennessee and back one day. Highly recommend this house!

Wonderful Property

Beautiful property, well equipped and very comfortable. Communication was great as well. Pups enjoyed running around the yard. If you’re into walking or hiking, you’ll have to drive to a path or trail. We would definitely return!

The house was immaculate upon entry. We had one small issue which was quickly resolved by the Property Manager, Terese. She was incredibly responsive and understood the urgency. The only thing i would change about the stay is to have better lighting in the back yard area to better access the firepit after dark. We would definitely stay here again!
