Casa Canillas - amazing views, hiker's paradise, village center, sleeps 4-6!

Lovely village flat, breathtaking mountain and sea views, sleeps up to 6 people. Whether with friends or family or a solo traveler you'll love the independence of this car-free location just a few meters uphill from the lively central town plaza and right on the hiking trail up to La Maroma mountain or the new El Saltillo suspension bridge on the trail to the village of Sedella.

There's a public pool with a restaurant located at the edge of the village (10-15 minute walk from the flat) where you can enjoy tapas on the tree-shaded patio. Excellent base to explore nearby locations such as Nerja, Malaga or Granada. 30 min to the beach at Torre del Mar. Great for active travelers due to the uphill location (and stairs in the flat). Huge terrace overlooking the town center and across to the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Canillas de Aceituno is a lovely white village of around 1500 friendly inhabitants; this is a spot where you can really tune out the world and relax. The village has several cafes and restaurants offering typical Spanish fare at very affordable prices; you can also check out the local music scene at El Refugio Bar Cultural (https://www.facebook.com/p/El-Refugio-Bar-Cultural-100087207794684/). This is a fantastic spot if you like to combine hiking or biking with plenty of options to relax and unwind.
