Welcome to The Nook Hydeaway at Ascent, a cozy, design-forward studio retreat tucked into the heart of Canmore’s stunning new Ascent resort.



Small by footprint, big on comfort and character, The Nook is intentionally curated for solo travelers, couples, and anyone who values thoughtful details over excess space. Whether you’re here for early mountain adventures, remote work with a view, or quiet mountain evenings, this is a place to settle in, recharge, and feel right at home.



The Space:

This studio makes the most of every inch. Wake up in an exceptionally comfortable, hotel-quality bed with mountain views, unwind in front of the large TV, or get some focused work done at the dedicated desk and chair (Coming soon) perfect for remote work or trip planning. The compact yet well-equipped kitchen is ideal for simple meals, light cooking, morning coffee, or après snacks, and the in-suite washer and dryer make longer stays easy.



NOTE: Final design touches will be installed by the end of January 2026 (including art, desk, decor items and mountain aesthetic wall paper)



The Nook Studio includes a full bathroom, small kitchen (mircrowave, dishwasher, fridge, pod coffee machine), washer/dryer, closet, patio, large screen TV and luxurious King Size Bed.

Mountain Town Note

Trains do pass through the Bow Valley and close by to Ascent, which is part of the authentic mountain town experience. To ensure comfort, the unit features triple-paned windows and is also not immediately facing the tracks. The majority of our guests have no issues and quickly don't realize there is a train passing at all after the first few passes. If you have any questions or concerns please give us a call!

Please also note, there is construction ongoing in the area. This is restricted to 7:30-4:30 weekdays and is typically a non-event but from time to time guests may hear heavy equipment operating.

The Nook Hydeaway is ideally located just minutes from downtown Canmore and approximately 20 minutes from Banff National Park. You are close to hiking and biking trails, lakes, golf courses, and world-class skiing. The Legacy Trail is nearby, offering a scenic route right toward Banff.
