Claire’s Cottage - Cozy House in Nice, Quiet Neighborhood

About this space:
Kick back and relax in our retro cottage. The house is a former 1940s store front for the old apple orchard, and it has been remodeled to be a fun vacation spot that we also use regularly. Soak up that country feel while being close to downtown shopping and restaurants. You will have easy access to the Royal Gorge, rafting, climbing, hiking, and biking. The space has a great outdoor area that is decorated with local art. Sit on the front patio and enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountains.

The space:
After a day of exploring, you can cook at home with a well stocked kitchen and updated appliances or check out our nearby local recommendations. The space sleeps four. We have recently updated our living room furniture. Guests can enjoy the large one-bedroom with a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room (extra linens, pillows, etc are in the bedroom closet). There is a covered outdoor space decorated with lighting at night and a privacy fence. Washer/dryer are in unit and laundry pods are provided. There is a full bath with a bathtub and shower, and necessities like body wash, shampoo and conditioner also provided. The space is heated and cooled with a mini split system, and there are also two space heaters if needed on those extra cold nights. Our family uses the home often, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Guest access:
Guests have the entire property to themselves. The cottage is the only house on the property.

No need to worry about keys during your stay! (Great if you are planning a rafting trip) Both doors are updated with a keyless smart lock system.
Other things to note:
For guests bringing an infant and using the pack and play, it is important to note that it does not include sheets.
