”This was the most pleasurable experience! From check in, to helping me up the stairs to my room, ensuring the room temp and TV were set and calling to check in if I needed anything. Rebecca made my experience so enjoyable and really delivered on above and beyond customer service. The hotel has a great breakfast spread and inviting dining area. The outdoors have manicured lawns and flowers. And the views out back - watch for the sunset!”

”The view from my balcony was absolutely incredible! I would stay here again just because of that. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very clean. The shower glass was dirty, the shower drain was completely clogged and nearly overflowed the shower pan while I had a short shower, and the sheets, although clean..were very wrinkled. Also the cutlery that was thoughtfully provided, was also dirty (had remnants of someone else’s food on it). But because of the stellar view, I did enjoy my stay.”

”We were in the two story section. Nice large room, very clean. Quite a few carpenter ants. Problem with TV the first night but that was fixed the next day. Very large lawn, nice spot on a good day to sit down with a good book. However there is no place to sit on a rainy day except in the room. No breakfast room or lobby. Not even some chairs placed so they would be out of the rain. We have friends in virtually every corner of Ottawa. Location of motel was very convenient for ease of visiting...

”The bed was not very comfortable. It has an about 6-8" mattress on a metal spring base. The middle of the bed sinks when my husband of 180 pounds lying on it.”

”While it seemed that the hotel may be undergoing some updating, in our room the bathroom fan was hanging down, the drawers on the dresser wouldn't stay closed and the ironing board wouldn't close up again for us. That said, staff were very good and accommodating and in general the place is a decent place considering the price point.”
