The open floor plan is spacious and inviting. The home features a large primary bedroom with 1 king bed and an ensuite bath with a deep soaker tub. There is another a full bathroom at the upstairs landing, The living room boasts hardwood floors as well as a cozy gas stove/fireplace in the living room for those chilly fall evenings. There, you will also find a convenient 1/2 bath for your use. The ample kitchen has granite countertops, new appliances, and plenty of space for cooking and dining at the farm house dining table. There are also 2 barstools at the kitchen counter. You are welcome to use any cooking items and food items in the cabinets. Step out onto the large covered front porch where you'll find rocking chairs as well as a high-top table and chairs along with a Weber gas grill for your use. With amenities like a washing machine, clothes dryer, heating, AC, and WiFi, guests can relax and unwind or work remotely from the comfort of this beautiful space. It's a great place to call home while you're exploring the area and enjoying the beautiful fall colors in these magnificent WNC mountains. By the way, if you're here for Halloween, Downtown Canton has a really fun festival and if you like, stock up on candy! We also have a great neighborhood for trick-or-treating!

This home is perfect for your fall getaway for the colorful leaves and exploring trails that lead to waterfalls. Then, head up the scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway to The Pisgah Inn for an amazing meal and even more spectacular mountain views! Be sure to make reservations! Our place is also the perfect place for Travel Nurses to call home base during shorter contract terms! (24 minutes to Mission Hospital and 13 minutes to Haywood Regional Medical Center).

The property just under 1 mile from Downtown Canton where you'll find delicious, locally owned eateries and shops. (Hint - The Front Porch restaurant is awesome, and about 1 mile away. Try the Rockin' Buffalo Dip and a local craft brew)! If you don't mind a hill or 2, it is very walkable. Grocery stores are within 3 miles. Asheville is just a short 20 +/- minute trip to lots of shopping, breweries, The Biltmore Estate, The NC Arboretum, The Blue Ridge Parkway, The Pisgah Inn, Bent Creek Hiking/Biking Trails at Lake Powhatan, and Asheville Outlets. Chestnut Mountain Nature Park is 2.4 miles with great hiking and biking trails!

The property is also only 20+/- minutes from the charming town of Waynesville with many more shops, breweries, and eateries. You are also 15+/- minutes from Lake Junaluska with an outstanding walking trail around the lake if you don't want a lot of hills. It's breathtakingly beautiful!

Some need-to-know items:
-The home is available for 2 people. The Primary Bedroom will be the only available sleeping area as the other 2 bedrooms won't be available for use. They will be locked and off-limits during your stay. It will be the perfect get away best suited for single's and couples.
-This is our primary residence. We warmly invite you to stay here and enjoy while we have to be away.
-Pets are not allowed
-We have a cat so if you have allergies - this is important to consider. The house will be cleaned and she will be away as well.
-The home is not child-proofed for young children.
-We have high-speed WIFI, Central heat, and A/C, as well as gas logs stove/fireplace, a 55" smart tv with Netflix and all of your favorite streaming apps.
-We will be making space in closets and drawers for you to store your things.
-We require a minimum stay of 5 nights during the time we will be away from October 15 until November 8. We have a property manager locally if you need anything.
-Also, we have the nicest neighbors! Please respect their peace.
