Welcome to the Boat Haus at Canyon Lake, a 5 bedroom home situated across the street from Canyon Lake and minutes from the boat ramp. The home can comfortably sleep 12 adults (no bunk beds). The home is the perfect backdrop for you to make lasting memories. Not quite regulation sized Pickleball Court, S'Mores at the outdoor fire pit, grilling in the outdoor kitchen, playing cornhole or bocce ball, this home has it all. Ample space for your boats, jet ski's or RV under the expansive covered parking. Come enjoy the many local attractions and the lake & then relax, play and hang out at the Boat Haus time and again!

Wonderful place for family getaway

This house was perfect for our family getaway. We booked the house for two nights and the family was very impressed with how spacious and clean the house was at arrival. There are plans already to book again. Very positive experience.

Great experience!

Our group of grandma’s had a lovely time at this house. Comfortable, cool, comfortable beds, (especially the pillows). Lots of homey touches made us feel welcomed. The hosts were wonderful and responsive to all our concerns and questions.

Disappointed

1) When we booked the property the listing showed a hot tubas amenity. we got there and we could not find the hot tub, we looked at the listing and it still showed a hot tub. we called the owner and she stated there was no hot tub and it disappeared from the listing. 2) There is no body wash or shampoo in any bathroom 3) There was no pan or tray to bring in food from outside grill. 4) The ice maker is a portable type, could not keep up with 6 people with mild weather. We were constantly making ice, then bought a bag. They left one gallon of water to make ice, not near enough. 5) there was no can opener, so did my best McGuyver 6) there is a fire pit with a wood rack, but no wood in the rack 7) the owner pushed off the hot tub on VRBO and offered no concessions. VRBO will not give concession for listing, this is owner responsibility. 8) we left a day early and advise the owner, no offer for cancellation, it was a Sunday night. Overall the house was nice, but make sure you check amenities, bring body wash and shampoo, and ice. The owner was responsive but not helpful, she was all about the pushing it off on the maid, VRBO or someone else.

River trip

First this house is FUN to walk through 😂 we kept referring to it as a “Harry Potter” house because of the layout of the rooms! The trip did not start off too great we dealt with a roof leak HOWEVER Jacquelyn’s customer service and speediness to get it resolved was amazing! We did not fuss over it because it could happen to anyone and we worked around it! We did get to feed deer which was so much fun definitely keeping this place in mind for our next trip as it was big enough for 5 couples to have our own room!

Great place to stay

Great house and location. Had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. Check in was simple and host was very quick to respond to my emails. We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I have is the house smells like moth balls.

Really enjoyable stay

Communication and check in process was excellent. Plenty of beds and room for our family. Well equipped and allowed us to put on a brisket dinner for our guests. Grandkids had the deer eating apples out of their hands.

Texas Hill Country “Jewel”

This place was perfect for us. The neighborhood was quiet with lots of deer roaming around freely. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding hills with twists and turns. Check-in was easy and it was so easy to communicate with the hosts. We had a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to return again and again.
