”We had a very late check in time, supposedly for cleaning, of which there was very little. Tried to contact caretaker for a vacuum cleaner but had no response. Cleaned as best we could to make it liveable. Drains were all blocked. Contacted Holiday Travel (managers) who were helpful and organised a plumber very quickly. They were also apologetic for state of the place and offered some remuneration. Our experience was further disappointed by nearby patrons on the same property fighting,...

”We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. The garden is full with f quaint touches and plenty of birdlife. Close to Bundanoon Pub where we met friends for lunch. Lovely hosts. Perfect weekend.”

”A beautiful clean property and a nice warm fire in side the house. It’s a house off the road and situated in the paddock with the sheep fenced in,my Husband and enjoyed our stay.”

”Everything! Amazing place!”

”Quiet spot with heaps of bird life. Just beautiful.”

”Beautiful and comfortable home - very spacious with a warm country feel to it.”

”Lovely home to stay at to be local to Bowral and Berrima.Quiet area, perfect for pets.”

”The house was clean and well fitted out. Comfortable beds.”

”This property was simply amazing. From early communications with the host, through to check in and check out, the whole booking process was smooth and accomodating. The property itself was immaculate. Well prepared and clean with everything ready for a family of 8. A truly enjoyable and wonderful stay. We hope to stay again in the future.”

”We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday and I can say we couldn’t have found a better place to do it. This place had something for everyone in the group. Kids had their own place in the games room, men had their fire pit to sit next to. The place was overall amazing. Thank you Elrob for hosting us.”

”We had a disappointing stay at this property. The house itself is ok, but the stay was let down by a lack of any attention to any detail. On arrival we found the garden was severely overgrown, with weeds well over our knee height, the kitchen cupboards and pots and pans were sticky and dirty, the glasses had lipstick stains on them and had to be washed before using, one room was empty of any furniture or furnishings apart from a built in cabinet and a tv...? The long life milk left in the fridge...

”Sophie’s Farmhouse was a wonderful property for our Easter getaway. With 16 adults we had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to choose from. The house is large and has everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Large kitchen and dining area works well for large groups and there is an outside dining area also. Having an enormous commercial refrigerator as well as a large refrigerator in the kitchen was amazing as we bring so much food and drinks - so loads of space. Really...

”Property is linked to an oval behind, and its great for dogs to run around. It is also a short walk to the club and a short walk into the village for grocery, cafes or bottle-shop. Relaxing and amazing stars at night.”

”Really well equipped”

”Property was impeccably maintained and in a great location, but what sets the booking apart are Jacqui and Kai are the most accommodating hosts who made sure our stay was perfect. The attention to detail and creature comforts provided, including breakfast goods provided made our stay feel more like a bed and breakfast. The house was spacious and beds very comfortable. Would highly recommend this property for any size group. Thanks for having us!”

”The property was as advertised: clean, comfortable and relatively secluded, allowing our group some much needed down time, privacy and all the necessary amenities. Handy for the local wineries and the charming township of Berrima. Thoroughly recommended for a long weekend away with good friends or the family.”
