”This used to be our go to hotel - it was affordable and centrally located and clean. Our visit this time was not the same - the bathroom had a lingering odor to it, the chain on the door only attached to one side, the tub wouldn’t drain properly and we discovered a broken wooden plank on the 2nd floor landing covered by a chair. (I have to assume it broke overnight and management didn’t cover it with a chair - a guest must have done that.)”

”The property has been beautifully renovated. Amazing views of the dunes and coast. Great hiking trails right on the grounds. Great spot to watch a sunset.”

”This hotel was a pleasant surprise for me. I never imagined how perfect everything would be during my vacation in Hyannis. The hotel staff deserves the highest praise. The hotel is very, very close to the harbor for trips to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket; you can walk from the hotel to the harbor and save $40.00 on parking. The restaurant area is just a block away. Breakfast was adequate, and the rooms were very clean. I will definitely return to this hotel.”

First, I want to recognize Bah at the front desk. She was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to help us. Unfortunately, the manager, Shennae, did not allow her to assist further. ”The positives are the staff was very nice and the room was clean with a full kitchen. The bummer was that the pool was not open and hasn't been for awhile. The door was very difficult to open. The rooms were a little run down. The entrance to the woods was actually not walkable at all despite the Expedia description. But this was an inexpensive hotel in a convenient location on Cape Cod so I would give it a solid 4 stars.”

”The rooms were clean and had lots of character! We loved the quaintness of this place and it was centrally located to the wharf. The staff were wonderful and they were helpful when we were looking for something special in town. The continental breakfast was wonderful and the homemade apple spice jelly was amazing!!”
