Upea Beach House on Ocean-Uusi ja eristäytynyt

Beach House hyvin eristäytynyt yhteisön Cape Dauphin pois pahoinpideltiin polkua. Kompakti avoimella konseptilla varustettu keittiö ja ruokailutila 1. 5 kylpyhuonetta. Kaksikerroksinen, pääkerroksinen makuuhuone, jossa on parivuode ja 3 erillistä vuodetta tilavassa parvekkeessa. Sohva aukeaa myös sängylle. Päätason kylpyammeet ja parvi. Puulattiat koko, laatta kylpyhuoneessa. Korkea 10 ft katto antaa talolle suuren tunteen. Paljon lattiasta kattoon ulottuvia ikkunoita, jotka tarjoavat kauniita aamu- ja ilta-auringonlaskuja. Talon säännöt

Pets must be approved by host, fee $75/pet/stay. Not allowed in beds/furniture and must be crated if left alone. No large gatherings. Max 4 visitors.
Recycle bags not sorted properly are subject to $35 fee/bag. TV for DVDs (no satellite/cable), wifi but in remote area and can be slow.
Extra person charges apply so add the correct number of people, fee will auto apply. The loft stairs are tricky, not good for elderly/ young children.

We spent two weeks here. Lovely stay by the ocean and close enough to the Cabot trail to go driving every day. Hosts were great and helpful. P.s. some reviews were saying you need a 4 wheel drive SUV to get there. Those people are hilarious babies. The cottage is down a well maintained, wide, easy gravel road. We did it in a front wheel drive VW station wagon. No problems at all.

Peaceful location with lovely views of the ocean and easy access to a rocky beach. Owner's house is right next door but they gave us lots of privacy while being available if we needed anything.We didn't cook but the kitchen was well appointed for that. Somewhat remote from restaurants but very manageable if you plan ahead and allow yourself time. Very close to Donelda's puffin cruise which was excellent.

Oceanside View

Absolutely amazing choice. Oceanside view with the rolling waves and the fresh smell of the saltwater wafting in was absolutely perfect. The wind blowing by the house along with the cormorants, ducks, and all the other wildlife topped the vacation

Dauphin Guest House

Although we had a short stay & didn’t spend much time in the house, we did love watching the full moon & sun rises. The house is small but very comfortable. Beautiful setting. The host & his niece were very helpful & kind. I would recommend this home to any one who likes to be a little off the beaten path.

Loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! I went with my mom and we loved the cozy feel of space. The view is phenomenal and the deck was so great for starting our day with a morning coffee. The shower is a little small but we managed. The long gravel road to get to the cottage was a little difficult if you're not used to it and probably not great for nervous drivers but you also get an awesome view throughout the drive so worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning location

The property was everything we expected and more. Stunning private location. Cabin had all the basic amenities. We used this location as a jumping off point for day trips to various parts of the island and it worked out perfectly for us. Expect to do a fair bit of driving but we were up for it and that was as much a part of the experience. The host was lovely and helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The host and interior of the cottage were fantastic. The deck needs a lot of improvement. Someone had stained the floor very carelessly with stain all up the outside wall. The 7 km drive into the property was terrible and speed for most of the time had to be 5-10 kph. This was not the renter's doing and I feel sorry for them for that. We were well treated and interior was well supplied, clean and comfy

Great Getaway

We stayed for three nights and the cottage with loft had everything you would want. A half hour from Beddeck, and it’s amazing scenery and eateries. We used the cottage as a base to explore Cabot Trail and took the Englishman ferry to connect to the Trail. Very convenient. There is a 9 km gravel road but it is well maintained and skirts a bay. Would stay again. 😊😊😊

If youre looking for a quiet place with a beautiful ocean view away from the city, this is perfect. They even mowed a path down to the beach below. Great walk and so quiet. Highly recommend and it was close enough to Sydney that we could drive in to do what we needed.

The perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful week in Cape Breton Island exploring the Cabot Trail and the area surrounding the Beach House. We learned of the history of New-Campbellton and the Cape Dauphin driving and walking the gravel road, and learned even more when taking the Bird Islands tour that passes directly in front of the cottage. The house has a fantastic view, from its porch and from the beach. We took a couple of hours walking the beach where we saw a couple of seals peaking their heads out of the water. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay there. Thanks Richard for being a part of this wonderful week spent in our very first visit to Nova-Scotia!
