”Our return ferry trip was cancelled, so instead of driving 3+ hours with my granddaughter, I figured we'd stay somewhere inexpensive. While there are features such as cleanliness and service that rate 5 stars, this is not a 5 star property. It is an extremely well maintained and clean 1950s motel, right across the street from the boardwalk and beach. ”Big refrigerator which was nice, no hairdryer, no shampoo just a tiny bar of cheap soap, threadbare blanket and very noisy air conditioner plus thin curtains so a lot of light leaked into the room at night; but on premises parking space which was nice. And, the roof top pool was nice. ”

”My husband and I did a quick trip to Wildwood for the holiday weekend! We stayed at El Ray previously. In fact, for the past 3 years! The rooms are always clean, AC works well especially in 90 degree weather! The staff is super nice and very accommodating!! The location is very convenient! Just a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk! ”I would give a better rating if the room was not moist all night even though the a/c was running. The sheets on the bed were damp the entire night. One working lightbulb, one roll of toilet paper, no tissues.”
