”This place looks like it has flourished in the 80s or 90s, and it's best days are behind it. But still, it has really nice feeling to it. The houses are nice, and some of them come with a nice terrace with a view to the ocean. The location is wonderful, and just near some quiet beaches. The hotel also has 2 beaches of it's own, in which you can go, for example swimming and kayaking for free. P.S. The hotel's pizzeria also serves good quality pizzas.”

”Väldigt annorlunda. Stor fin lägenhet i ett övergivet avlägset komplex. Mkt fint vatten, inga bekvämligheter runt om, stolar, kiosk etc. Klapperstensstrand. Måste vara hotell som konkat o nu delvis hyrs ut o delvis ägda lägenheter. ”

”Do not stay at New Barcavela under any circumstance. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it completely ruined our trip. The property is severely unhygienic and heavily infested with cockroaches; we found them crawling in the bathroom, making the space entirely unusable. Furthermore, the hotel is a consumer scam. They advertise a "private beach" on booking platforms but hide a mandatory €30/day fee per beach bed. The room itself was a disaster: tiny, filthy, lacking basic amenities like...

”The property is in a lovely quiet location that is perfect to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly, attentive, and the food in the restaurant is a particular highlight. Highly recommended!”
