”Helpful staff, clean and well maintained property”

”The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Just an overall really cool vibe about this place. The location is awesome as well. I did use the gym here a few times and it is excellent. Lots of weights and good selection of cardio machines. Definitely going to stay here again when I am back in St. John’s.”

”The property is perfectly located for downtown and the harbour! Decorating and having what we needed was good! The renovations for bathrooms and decor were wonderful. A historic building! However we were on the top floor and the air conditioning did not work and normally that is ok but it was terribly hot and we felt like our room was in an attic with no air flow! We had windows that opened to the courtyard, which we could hear all the conversations and loudness from the events that were in...

”The Manor is well kept. The breakfast was nice, there was cereal, bread, bagels, croissants, jam, peanut butter, cream cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, coffee, tea, juices. Served in a cozy kitchen that sat 13 people..a great opportunity to meet people and chat. There was always someone there on staff to ensure the breakfast was was stocked and answer questions. We met Brenda (owner) and had a great chat. (Fellow hockey parents😊) Our room was the Twillingate on the 3rd floor (lots of steps)...

”Few reminders, Cleaning is every other day, unless you request it. So be aware. Breakfast menu is almost the same every day. Could get boring if you stat long.”

”Perfect cozy stay! The space was large enough for two, private, and the location was perfect! Near enough to be accessible to everything, but far enough away to avoid noise and traffic. Space was perfectly decorated! We loved that there was no TV! Staff was also very helpful!”

”This hotel is in a good location for accessing the downtown. It is an easy walk to some sightseeing spots. They do have underground parking, but you must pay for it each night.”

”Check in staff were great and allowed us to check in early which was great, however the staff and service at the restaurant was just terrible overall, so I’ll leave it at that. Overall the hotel is showing its age and is obviously due for an upgrade/ refresh. Definitely not up to “Sheraton” standards that’s for sure. It’s definitely not the same Hotel Newfoundland it used to be that’s for sure.”
