”Had an awesome night at Paddabult Cottages enroute to Cape Town. It is conveniently located very close to some of the best wine farms. Fully self-catering and a beautiful outlook from the patio over the vines. ”

”Nice property but they weren't very accommodating. We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner ”

”Backup power would be Good , this problem is here for a long time so gear your place so that guests can always have power . Lots of ants even in my bed , sort the DSTV connection in the room is stayed !! NO DSTV ”

”Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Really great staff. The outside/property area is very beautiful as well. I just don't think the place is worth the price, and I can't understand why they would advertise this as a 5 star property. The rooms look like they are from the 80s or 90s - decorations are just very, very outdated and the room just smelled old (but it was clean). ”Happy with our stay. Close to the family we were visiting. Vegan had to ask for non-dairy milk but the next day it was provided. ”

”Very beautiful place with very welcoming owners. This break at the end of the working day was very relaxing. For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about.”

”Not very impressed! Room outdated but clean some bed side lights not working . Television from the 90’s without one single clear channel thank goodness I had my laptop. Also I booked with breakfast included on Expedia. The GM said no it’s not included. Even when I showed him my confirmation for breakfast he still flatly stated no again and that I would have to pay for it Otherwise room was clean. Just glad I only had one night booked”

”Arrived in a rush to get the key & left for an event. Clean room and nice to find a welcome note, even after a late booking. Cabins are not very soundproof, which is understandable - however when neighbouring guests are having loud conversations at 3am, it is not ideal. Floors are also very cold, perhaps more mats can be provided.”

”Room was ok, but for the price you’d expect soap in the bathroom, some sort of milk for coffee, and WiFi that might actually connect to the internet. Also had to get another guest to help check me out because the hostess had turned her phone off. Average at best. ”
