”First time (in our experience) the actual property exceeded the photos (and the photos made the place look great in the first place). The property is beautiful and the house is beautiful. The riverside setting is everything for which we were hoping and the house simply tasteful and Adirondack elegant. Whole place is comfortable inside and out. The owners are both extremely available and also unobtrusive. Perfect experience. Would book this place simply to stay here and do nothing else. This time...

”We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. ”We booked this escape as a 1/2 way point between family in NJ and MA and what a hidden gem it is! Dog friendly was a priority, but the magic of this place was a welcomed surprise. All weekend we commented on wishing we stayed longer and that we must come back to really enjoy the property and cozy feel that warms the soul! The cabin is meticulously maintained and it is very clear that the family loves their home away from home! Can’t wait to return!!”

”The cabin was secluded and quiet, lovely location, and a beautiful sunroom. We were two adults and a baby, and a cat. It was clean and well stocked with linens and utensils. Our baby did well as it was kid friendly. Small but compact and everything was in good working order. WiFi was good. It was close to Mine Kill State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing we would suggest is removing the trophy animals (three deer heads and a turkey). Not everyone is comfortable with such...

A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. It has an even better restaurant on top (you need reservations) and is right on the Appalachian Trail so you will meet all sorts on...

”This place was extremely clean and comfortable. The check in and check out processes were easy, and the managers were so incredibly responsive. I loved how there were so many sheets and towels. We didn’t use the kitchen, so I can’t comment on that. Based on the sage, it might be better for one family just because the second bedroom downstairs has glass doors, so it’s not completely private. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay there again!”
