”Whoever thought putting Bluetooth speakers in each room for guests to use was not thinking about the drunk guests that come up from the bar at midnight and blast their music. I stay in a lot of hotels but this was the worst experience I’ve had. The staff was good the location was good but the noise was unreasonable. It may have been isolated to my area but I doubt it.”

”We absolutely loved our stay at Cypress Lodge! It was such a unique and memorable experience for our family and so much more than just a hotel stay.
The kids loved the interactive scavenger hunt that encouraged them to explore, learn about the history of the Pyramid, and engage with the property in such a fun way. When the kids complete the bingo scavenger hunt they get a prize at the end! The museums and exhibits throughout made the entire stay feel like an adventure.

”They put a lot of time and money into the renovation of the lobby. There was, however, a lot of trash in the parking lot and no renovation in the rooms. There was no phone in the room to call the lobby. I had to go back down to get a code for the wifi. Everything is a scan-a-code for self-check-in. Scan a code for the wifi. The only food available was a little corner of microwave stuff and chips... self-scan. I prefer a little more human assistance after driving all day.”

”Our first impression of the hotel was positive as Eboni in the reception was just the sweetest!
When we got into the room, it was a worn out but functional. No coffee machine thou. A lot of stains on the carpets and furnitures. There seems to be a lot of personnel, but nobody (apart from the receptionist) seemed to be busy or active.
Breakfast was the biggest joke - there was no coffee and only limited types of food available after 9 AM. The second morning, coffee ran out already at 8:45....

”The property is old. The room had a funny smell. There was only one towel in the room. Had to request more. The remote didn't work. Requested batteries and we did receive them. Remote and tv still were not working properly. They have window units in the rooms and it was loud. The girl in the kitchen was by herself serving over 150 guest and she was sweet. It was her second day and she was amazing. If your looking to not spend a lot I recommend. But if you are looking for better accommodation...
