”We had a perfect stay at Five Sabrosa Senses. Everything was wonderful: delicious breakfast, incredibly helpful and available staff, and a beautiful house made for pure relaxation. We especially loved enjoying the stunning views during the rainy weather. The sauna was absolutely the highlight! We’ll definitely be back.”

After many failed attempts to reach the hotel we have accepted the loss. After unanswered emails and lengthy times on hold and finally speaking to someone we were asked to call back the next day. Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. ”Spectacular scenery. Our room with balcony was great. We sat there in the evenings with some wine and just enjoyed the landscape. Couple OK restaurants in walking distance and several wine yards close by to visit by car.”

”I was never able to get to the hotel due to road closures caused by flooding in the area. The hotel never communicated to me via any means before hand. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. ”We really enjoyed our stay. Francisco was the best -very friendly, great service, and fantastic recommendations for dinner, boat tour, and other quintas to visit. It was nice to meet the owners as well and talk with them about the harvest season. Will definitely recommend and will come back the next time we’re in the Douro.”
