We would suggest the Royal Sportsman hotel for dinning. As we have visited it before and the food and service was excellent. ”

”The hotel staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was great! My room was just right for what I needed, small and comfortable. The bathroom appeared to have new fixtures and was really nice and clean. There was a bit of noise from some troubled people across the street for a bit, but that is nothing the Glendower could control and resolved so I could have a restful sleep. Breakfast was also just right.”

”We booked in for a spontaneous one night getaway based on positive reviews online and were pleased to find our expectations exceeded. We had a spacious and well appointed room with a four-poster bed and view towards the mountains that was just what we needed after a tough week. Staff were lovely and struck the perfect balance between friendly and professional. The Sunday carvery from the in-house restaurant was excellent all round. No sooner had we returned home and I was already recommending...

”Wonderful B&B. Last minute booking after ferry was cancelled. Family room was spacious and immaculately clean, with separate bunk bedroom. Ordered local pizza delivery and ate it in the lovely garden. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, lots of choices and cooked to order. Thank you for making us feel so welcome at short notice. ”

”What a great hotel! Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. The family room (for me, my husband and my two uni-aged kids) was spacious and spotless. The bathroom gleaming clean. The mattresses were very comfortable, soft and hard pillows provided, beautifully laundered bed linen too. Little details -- like the hairdryer attached to the mirror, and a standing fan (which we had to use as it was a hot night), and a fridge -- showed that the management are really thinking about...

”Self check in worked well. Large room with side sea view. Comfy bed and clean room. Good breakfast which was the first time we saw anyone from the b&b. Ideally situated for sea and not too far from the town. Would stay there again.”
