We had the second cabin counting from the beach, and the passing motorboats didn't disturb us at all, which might be the case with the last one. While you don’t typically go to Bocas for “amenities” the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly- especially Janelli. She not only greeted us every time she saw us with a warm and genuine smile, she was crucial in helping us plan our days, made phone calls, walked us places and translated for us. She is truly a gem to this hotel.”

”Eclypse del Mar is a uniquely, beautiful location. We stayed both in the overwater bungalows and the treehouse so we were able to enjoy the ocean and forest views. We were thrilled to be able to feed the fish through the opening in the living room floor of the bungalow.
The staff is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Rashi, JJ and Francesca made us feel right at home.
We had some of the best animal sightings at the reserve, including a mother sloth, travelling the treetops with its twins...

”Pool was not only closed but there were people in it running jackhammers starting at 8:00 AM. When I asked to be let out of my reservation I was told that I should have seen the word pool crossed out in the hotel description (forget the photo of a full pool). My bathroom sink did not have hot water and the bathroom smelled in general. Wish I had stayed somewhere else.”

”Surfari was a great place to stay. The breakfast was really good and we slept well as there was not that much noises from the streets (sometimes heavy rain, barking dogs or a rooster crowning woke us up).
The staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were very basic, quite small, but clean and hot water in the shower was a great value. There were 2 kitchens where you can prepare your own meals with lots of kitchen equipments.”
