”Although upon arrival, we were quite put off by the exterior condition and appearance of this old Quality Inn, once in our room, most everything seemed updated and clean. ”Staff was wonderful but the lack of cleanliness really took away from our stay. I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room, scrubbed the surfaces that were covered in a film and dust. I bought extra sheets and covered all the linens, they smelled and were horribly stained. If they get the housekeeping under control - this would be a great place. ”

”We travel with our little dog. The Holiday Inn in Salem was very dog friendly helpful. They gave us a room at the end of the hall on the ground floor. So, all we had to do to take our dog out was go out the locked hall door and re-enter using our room card. They also allow a pet to be in the lobby, just not in the eating area. This allowed us to visit with friends in the lobby and have our dog safely with us. The staff at this hotel is very friendly and looks for ways to make your visit easy...
