Heartwood Barn - Kodikas muunnettu navetta, joka sijaitsee kauniissa muinaisessa metsässä

Heartwood Barn on rakennettu kunnostetusti niin, että se luo kodin kodin tunteesta. Navetta on oma eristäytynyt parveke varovasti CSS virta. Rauhallisella paikalla, tämä on täydellinen pakopaikka niille, jotka haluavat päästä lähemmäs luontoa.
Loman aikana olet tervetullut nauttimaan omistajista, jotka ympäröivät 20 hehtaaria muinaista metsää, joka johtaa alas joen jyrkälle laaksolle. Huomaa, että sopivia jalkineita on suositeltavaa, sillä polut ovat jyrkät ja voivat joskus olla märkiä ja mutaisia.
Heartwood Barn tarjoaa tilavan, kevyen, avoin olohuone / keittiö / ruokailutila, jossa on suuri logipoltin, antelias suhteellinen makuuhuone, jossa on king-size-parivuode, oma kylpyhuone ja oma parveke. Kierreportaat johtaa jopa mezzanine joka tarjoaa viihtyisän lasten den, kaksi futon vuodetta.
Heartwood Barn sijaitsee puolen kilometrin päässä tien varrella, joka sijaitsee naapurikenttämme ylittävän maatilan radalla. Se ei sovellu ajoneuvoihin, joissa on vähäinen maavara (esim. Urheiluautot). Pysäköinti on mahdollista ulkopuolella omaisuutta.
Omistajat ja heidän nuoren perheen elää naapurimaiden maalaistalo ja ovat valmiina jos tarvitset jotain.

Perfect rural retreat in lovely barn

We had a lovely week at Heartwood Barn in this rustic barn conversion. Located down a delightful track, over a field with horses grazing and into the forest where the barn is situated. It feels like a million miles from anywhere, yet is only 15 minutes to Carmarthen and easy to get lots of other interesting places. The barn is independent of the main farmhouse which is below on a steep incline. It is hard to describe how enchanting the farm is, but it is impossible not to love the natural beauty which the farm and adjoining forest provide. Inside the barn everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, with lots of space and a comfy bed. Whatever the weather, this is a real piece of Wales and a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Lovely property to stay in for our weekend, nice and cosy with the log burner. Very good communication with the owners, plenty of advice in advance of our stay. Hopefully will revisit in the future

A perfect break!

We stayed at the property 13th-16th September. The location and property were perfect for us to recharge our batteries. It was absolutely wonderful to open the door to be welcomed by the log burner roaring. We sincerely hope to come back again next year. Many thanks to Martine and Matt

Ideale retreat

Een geweldige plek om tot rust te komen. Centraal gelegen om zowel de pembrokeshire coast als de brecon beacons te verkennen. Hele aardige gastheer en gastvrouw, alles prettig geregeld. Het huis van de eigenaren is niet ver van de cottage, maar daar merk je heel weinig van, echt een fijne, rustige locatie.

Chose to stay at this property because pictures made it very inviting. Was a bit concerned when description said you had to drive down a track but it did say not suitable for sports cars so thought we would be ok as we don’t have a sports car. If you value your car I would not stay here unless you drive a 4x4 or better still a tractor!! We have a focus and almost ground out every time we drove up and down it. Property felt damp and was quite dark. There were 4 bulbs blown in the lights which would have been easily noticed by owner if checked. There was left over ketchup and sauces in cupboard and the sugar bowl had lumps of coffee in it which previous people staying had used. All things that should have been removed. The garden table was dirty and quite rusty. The weather was quite nice during our stay and breakfast outside seemed idyllic in the surroundings. We had to scrub the table before we could use it - again something the owner should have done before we arrived. The grounds were also very grown and really not suitable for walking in. As the property is off the beaten track it would have been nice if the owner supplied a few essentials like milk, butter and bread. Have stayed at properties before where this has been supplied and makes all the difference especially when you arrive late, your in the middle of nowhere and shops are closed. Wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend to others!!

A perfect cozy retreat for a quiet break

We had a lovely time at The Retreat this week, capped off by some wonderful snowfall on Wednesday morning. The house is lovely, has been done out with everything you could need for a relaxing break, especially the log burner which came in very handy on the cold evenings. If you are after somewhere quiet & off the beaten track, this place is just for you but be warned that it is down a narrow lane & track so access isn't for anyone who isn't very mobile. Despite that, it's wonderful & such a lovely place to stay. Thank you for such a great little cottage & for giving us a truly memorable short break.

all you could want

A lovely property. We live in a period cottage but this was very different and very bright and spacious. Lovely stove (although it took our wood burner knowledge to get lift off !!) Very well equipped. We would love to return and just regret that our typical weather meant we could not enjoy sitting out on the balcony over the stream.

Very nice and comfortable converted barn,

This converted barn is beautiful converted. Nice en-suite washroom, spacious living room and open plan kitchen. Very friendly and helpfull owners
