Tämä kaunis moderni koti sijaitsee yhdellä hehtaarilla maata Tyynellemerelle päin ja sieltä on kauniit näkymät veteen ja auringonlaskuun. Pääkerroksessa on korkea avoin palkki katto, ruokasali ja olohuone, valkoinen tammi puu lattia, iso gourmet-keittiö graniitti työtasot ja kaupallinen kaasu-keitto liesi ja kaksinkertainen uuni, puoli kylpy, avoin pohjaratkaisu, iso kansi merinäköalalla ja auringonlasku näkymät ja iso pöytä ja uusi BBQ.
Makuuhuoneessa on uusi parisänky ja sähkötakka, toisessa makuuhuoneessa oli yksi kuningatar ja yksi sänky. TV-huoneessa on parivuode.
Siellä on erillinen ulkoilma-spa-alue, josta on yksityisyyttä, merinäköala ja auringonlasku, iso kylpytynnyri ja suljettu ulkosuihku tarvittaessa kuumaa vettä.

Talo on rauhallisella paikalla, jossa voit kuulla aaltoja ja merileijonoja. On suuri kävely ja vaellus Big Sur ja suoraan talosta; ostoksia ja ruokailua Carmelissa, vain 10 minuutin päässä. Valaiden katselu rannikon varrella tai kiertue Montereyn satamasta.
Maailmankuulu Montereyn akvaario on 20 minuuttia, Montereyn lentokenttä 15 minuuttia, San Josén lentokenttä 1 1/2 tuntia ja San Francisco 2 tuntia.
Hearstin linna on 2 tuntia etelään; Highlands Inn -hotelli, jolta on merinäköalaravintola, on 2 minuutin päässä.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was as advertised and more! It was out of the way and very quiet, but within minutes of town. The kitchen was stocked exceptionally well, with everything you’d need to cook a gourmet meal! Karin was a very gracious host!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house is on a large, lush and quiet property up on a hill and has a great view of the ocean. We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets from the large deck. The house is darling and is so clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The beds are really comfortable with nice bedding and pillows. Close to hiking locations and to the shopping and restaurants at Carmel-by-the-Sea. Check in was simple and the host was very accessible for any questions we had. We will absolutely be returning! Highly recommend!

I spent 3 nights with my mom and daughter. The house is beautiful, perfectly comfortable, and lots of little touches to help you enjoy it thoroughly: flip flops of all sizes provided to get to the spa area, tons of towels, robes, binoculars and Audubon guide, and more. I also appreciated the beautiful container plants all around the property. Well done!

Karin’s place is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked and the views from the house and hot tub were stunning. The beds were really comfortable. Communication was great. Be mindful that smaller cars may struggle to drive up the steep road to the house but otherwise great!

View of the ocean was even better than advertised!Very clean well appointed home in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Karin’s comfortable and cozy home had everything we needed for our stay. Easy communication with the host. Check in was a breeze. The hot tub with ocean view was a bonus! I would definitely recommend this property.

The property itself is incredible. Too many great things to list them all but I’ll start with a couple. #1 Outdoor warm shower right next to the private fenced in spa that has lounge chairs and a great view. #2 The deck on the main house has views And sunsets to die for. #3 A great kitchen with very upscale of appliances and every cooking utensil you can think of to prepare gourmet meals. #4 Very close to downtown Carmel, but far enough out where you feel very secluded. #5 The host was incredible. Gave us tips on hiking restaurants, and anything that we needed. I could go on and on, but all I will say is it’s one of the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in and we stay in a lot.

We really enjoyed the main floor with the wonderful ocean view. Loved the wood paneled vaulted ceilings and all the windows and sky lights that let the light pour in. Enchanting. Beautiful artwork and decor as well with live plants and orchids. Weather during our stay did not allow for using the nice outside space on the deck. We didn't cook any meals, but the kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom supplies were abundant. We were surprised the bedrooms and main bath were all downstairs from the main level. The bedrooms were basic but comfortable.

This home was super clean and very well appointed with everything you could want or need during your stay. The decor was tasteful, the beds were comfortable and had nice featherbeds. The hot tub with robes provided and wood fireplace were nice on those chilly nights. The kitchen was a dream to cook and prepare family meals in. We enjoyed the abundant light throughout the upstairs and the view of the ocean. The living room was comfortable to read by the fire or play games with family. Overall, it was an enjoyable vacation home and we would definitely stay again!

We celebrated Thanksgiving here and found the kitchen a perfect place for cooking with every needed utensil. The views of the oceans from the large windows and from the decks truly made the experience extra special. I appreciated the separation of living spaces. There is a table in the kitchen that was perfect for playing cards and doing puzzles, while the dining room overlooking the backyard offered another large table. The beds were located downstairs and this was nice for people who get up and go to bed at different times. The bedding was comfortable with different types of pillows and plenty of towels. Everything was very clean. I appreciated having a laundry room as well. My favorite times here were the mornings. The deck for the hot tub is located down a short pathway from the house and has lounge chairs. Sitting on that deck made me feel like I was in a treehouse because all I could see were the ocean and tree tops. Very peaceful place to enjoy a cup of tea. There is another deck right off the side of the house and we enjoyed meals and snacks there often while watching the sky change colors over the ocean. The ocean is a short drive away- the nearest beach is probably about a mile away, but our favorite beach was in Carmel about 4 miles away. This is a nice place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and relax for a while.
