Villa Bossi Agaten Lahdella - Kohde # 149

Erittäin edullinen 3 makuuhuoneen, 2 kylpyhuonetta kotiin. Kaupungissa Agate Bay, noin 1 kilometrin päässä järven Tahoe. Täydellinen, keskeinen pohjoisen järven sijainti, jossa suuri takakansi, jossa on patio-huonekalut ja puuhiiltä Weber-grilli ja metsänäkymät. Kodissa on avoin suunnitelma keittiöstä ruokailutilaan olohuoneeseen, uudempaa taulutelevisiota, puuhella ja kodikas ikkunapaikka. Keittiö on täysin varustettu ja siinä on runsaasti vastaustilaa sekä lisävarastoa viereisessä vaatehuoneessa. Makuuhuone on kiinnitetty kylpyhuone ja koti on myös täysikokoinen pesukone ja kuivausrumpu salissa.

Nice property

The property location was great, and was easy to check into. The house was a bit on the small side, but was a perfect base of operations as we were mostly at the Lake. The house was mostly clean, although the interior was a bit dated.

Relaxing stay in a friendly neighborhood

The house was very conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood near shops and easy access to Northstar and Palisades. It was very clean, cozy, and well-appointed, and we had a very relaxing stay. The neighbors were very friendly and approachable. Our kids enjoyed playing with the neighborhood kids. The surroundings were perfect for walking our dogs, and we encountered several other friendly dogs. We would like to stay here again.

Basic cabin in good location

Cabin is basic, but does have the essentials and has an efficient floor plan. Good location in Carnelian Bay. Only complaint is that the property is dated and has not been updated at all...bathrooms could stand to be upgraded, as well as the kitchen. But, overall, as long as you are expecting basic, this did check the boxes and it was nice to have our dog with us as well.

Home away from home

This was our first time in Lake Tahoe. We chose this property because it checked many boxes with incoming family gathering here for a vacation including pet-friendly accommodations. We gathered every night on the back deck to enjoy the beautiful night sky and returned inside to enjoy the fire-burning stove. We cooked several breakfasts and dinners and found that everything was there that we needed. I call it "home away from home" because we really felt that vibe the entire stay. Highly recommend if you want a cozy cabin in the woods and close to amenities.

Disappointing

Great location but the cabin is very small. It is hard to relax when the furniture is broken or uncomfortable which is the case with both the bedroom and living room. Seating in the living room is limited to a broken recliner or a very uncomfortable couch. We even tried multiple beds. Everything in the kitchen is either broken or very old and mismatched. It was hard to find a good pan to cook anything and was missing basics like a spatula. Two of the burners on the stove didn’t work and there were multiple lights out in the bathrooms. The lights that did work in the bathroom were a burn/fire hazard as noted on the mirror. The hot water in the master bath made a loud screeching noise. The toilet area and shower in the master bath are too small for most people to comfortably use and are not depicted in rental photos.

1978 flashback.

The place was good for what we needed and the location was fine. We had trouble getting enough hot water for showers (5 adults getting ready for a wedding), but the problem was addressed and fixed quickly, even in the midst of a snow storm. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had the conveniences we needed. We wished that there was salt and pepper though! We were also able to get an earlier check in time.

Beautiful property

Very nice home in a great neighborhood. Well stocked pantry, kitchen has all appliances, utensils, cups & glassware. Home is clean & well maintained. Great place to stay with family & friends.

Perfect family dog-friendly week away

We had a wonderful week with our family and two dogs at this home. The layout was wonderful with the large open kitchen, dining and family rooms. We loved the back porch that opened to the woods and played games, ate and just enjoyed the forest. The home was well stocked and just a perfect week away before sending the kids back to school - thank you and we hope to come back next summer!

Nice Northshore location

Great location in great neighborhood. Nice walks in neighborhood and down to the lake House backs up against the woods. No A/c so House gets hot in afternoon/evenings making it difficult to sleep, even with fans. well equipped kitchen and comfortable basic accommodations inside.

Nice property close to the lake.

The house is very cozy and convenient. Safeway is just 10 minutes drive away. We were planning to stay only 3 nights but we got stuck in a snow storm so we had to extend for other 5 nights. The management was super helpful and understanding of the situation and gave us a good deal to extend our stay.

Great place in the forest.

Very adequately supplied property in a beautiful setting. Hiking trails are nearby. We entertained guests there who enjoy cooking and they agreed with us that the kitchen is well equipped both in terms of preparation utensils and serving dishes. It is quiet and not far from Lake Tahoe. We liked being off the main road with all its hustle and bustle.

Vacation rental is very bare bones. No internet (or wifi), heater takes forever, showers don't stay warm, and not much available for cooking. When we arrived the house was FREEZING. The toilets even had frozen water in them. Heater took at least 3 hours to warm up the house. Windows are not double paned so house does not stay warm after heat has been turned on. We all went to sleep with multiple layers on. Beds were fine and so was the space. This is ok for an overnight trip, but no longer than one night. Would probably not stay here again. Price was decent for 6 people.

Enjoyed it.

We usually stay by the lake, but enjoyed the quiet and solitude of this area. We were able to step right out the back door to take a short hike in the morning and drive a short distance to enjoy the lake and all the activities there. We hope to be back to this property.

Decent place with pros and cons

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, there were several pros and cons. Pros: Location is great! Layout of main room and the rest of the house was nice and open. The kitchen was well-equipped, although the appliances are ancient. Nice backyard with a big deck. Heater worked well. Cons: NO WIFI!!! The listing mentions nothing about this and it absolutely should. There was no salt and pepper, which seems like such a basic thing to have on hand. Considering the cleaning fee is $140, I would have expected the house to be cleaner. The BluRay player did not work with the remote control. Listing states that this is economical, but when all the fees and charges are added in, we paid almost double what the stated nightly rate is. We won't be back.
