We’ve captured the seacoast spirit with our Something Fishy Bungalow at Island Breeze Retreat. The nautical theme is abundant in its whimsical decor, but Something Fishy is all about comfort and relaxation. Snuggle in the comfortable Queen bed while watching a classic movie. Curl up on the soft loveseat by the window and read a summer thriller. You’ve got all the convenience of your own private bath with a shower, a kitchenette complete with coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, microwave. Located near the heart of Carolina Beach. 8 minute walk to the closest beach access. Stores, restaurants, and other amenities located close by. Walking, car, or Golf Cart

Over priced. Flooring has soft spots and uneven, the flooring on the side of the bed is on a slant. Shower is uneven. The bathroom floor leaked due to rain. You can hear people walking around on the decking (it echoes into the room). Nowhere to hang your clothes. Sofa and bathroom door chewed up. Simply not worth the cost.

Perfect room for one!

Cozy little room in a quiet area! Jeremiah (the host) was very responsive. Although I didn’t have a pet, the rooms are pet friendly. Enjoyed my stay, will definately stay again!

Great find

We booked 2 rooms for a little family weekend. This place is super cute, very pet friendly, and in a great location. We had a small issue with one room (not at fault to the owners) but they switched us no problem! The golf cart is a must have too! Renting through them is cheaper than the cart rentals in the area. The whole family kept telling me how perfect this place was for a quick beach trip. Hope to come back!

Perfect little getaway!

We took a winter road trip, and this was our first time in Carolina Beach. The rental was so cute, clean, and had everything we needed. Great location, we loved checking out the area with our dogs. We would love to come back again!

Amazing!

We absolutely loved this property!!! It was so quaint and cute and close to lots of restaurants. It was a 10 min walk to the beach. We had our two dogs with us and the people at the property were so welcoming! Speaking with Jeremiah was quick and easy and check in was simple. We will ABSOLUTELY be back.

Good location/ excellent cleaning service

Cleaning crew were there when we arrived and were for awhile they were super nice and offered help with questions I couldn’t get an answer from the host. First time ever visiting there so we were new and didn’t know anything about pet friendly restaurants/ places within walking distance/ etc they offered several suggestions. I would have thought host would know since the place is completely pet friendly . Come to find out most every place were pet friendly and welcomed our support dog! One restaurant even allowed us to bring Boomer inside! It was very quiet, peaceful the room was clean other than no stopper for bathtub it was all good.

Oasis in a busy beach town

Carolina Beach is BUSY with a lotta people and traffic. But this place is super quiet and relaxing...truly an oasis. Not only that but it's pet friendly and IMMACULATE, the outside space is great for reading a book, and the staff are amazing. We would come back in a second.

Short Sprink Break Stay

My wife, 2 kids and I loved this place. It was a very cute little place, had everything we needed. Close walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. Would recommend to anyone, and would definitely stay here again!!!
