Located on the top floor of a three-story building, this retreat provides breathtaking views and easy access to the community beach. Carolina Beach Stay

Property is in great location but that is only positive. Outdated furniture and appliances, not well kept. Bugs seen during the stay even with pest service. Stairs in bad shape. Condo needs a lot to work just to be serviceable. Would not stay again.

It was an okay place to stay. There was roaches. The dishwasher didn’t work. And the AC didn’t work well. It would be set on 70 and be 80 degrees. The key pad to get in our room didn’t want to work right. You had to push in the door for it to lock.

Nice for a quick getaway

This is a clean, older property with upgraded hardwood floors, and a great view from the top balcony of the building. This unit provided two parking places, which worked for us. (We noticed other units had only a single parking place.) The primary bedroom was relatively spacious with a very soft bed (so beware if you want a firm bed!) The AC worked very well. This is a third-floor unit, and there is no elevator, but the staircase is well maintained, and we liked the exercise (kind of like a built-in gym! :-D) Overall, a pleasant stay.

Great view

Clean condo. Great views. Limited supplies in kitchen - no dish soap, limited paper towels & spices. Would suggest bringing all supplies to those that stay.

Perfect for us

My parents came to visit and we wanted to escape to the beach. This condo was perfect for us. Even when the weather wasn’t perfect, sitting on the balcony was perfect. Walking to restaurants was easy and convenient. It was lovely.

Booking this property and communication with the management were a breeze. The property looks and is styled as is in the online pictures. The view of the beach was surpurb and the easy access walkway to the beach was convenient. That being said it is obvious that the inside of the property is very very outdated. The bed in the master bedroom is not sturdy, if you walk heavy in other parts of the home you can feel the bed shaking. The pillows are not comfortable as they are plastic with a wool covering over it. Very basic. No toiletries except towels and washclothes are provided, so be sure to pack your basic needs. The additional bedroom with 2 twin beds has no remote to the tv, when we called about it, maintenance came up and informed us that the tv nor dvd player came with a remote. Having 2 children with no tv access in their room sucked.The tv's in the bedroom are very outdated and small, if you have dvds and vhs tapes bring them if you want to watch tv. The kitchen wasnt used much but seemed to have everything you needed except actual dishwashing detergent, there was some rinsing agent but not detergent. The sliding door with patio access doesnt close and lock unless the wooden stick provided is laid down in the groove. Could be unsafe, hing/lock was very rusted probably should invest in a new door. The amount of dust and dog hair was the thing that made this trip most unpleasant for me. The property needs an upgrade and deep clean.

Clean with a beautiful view

This unit was very clean and comfortable. We checked in after hours and our door code didn’t work, but the after hours folks were helpful and we had a new code and were inside in about 10 min. This is ocean front and the beach view and access are great. This is on the third floor, but the stairs were not an issue for anyone in our family. There are two parking passes for this unit. One parking space is under the building, but it is very difficult to get a large SUV around other tenants cars and into the designated spot. We decided to just park in the extra lot across the street where there was plenty of room. We were only there for a short weekend and didn’t cook any meals, but the kitchen seemed to have all the basic needs. The linen service brings very basic towels, so if you’re picky bring your own. The cleaning service does a wonderful job- it was spotless, but they don’t leave any bar soaps (like hotel size) or starter/sample packs of dishwasher detergent, so make sure to pack all toiletries and a few dishwashing/ laundry pods to get by until your grocery run. The location is great- far enough from the boardwalk to have a quite beach day, but close enough to walk (15min walk) if you want some excitement and avoid the parking fees. Would stay here again.

The perfect stay!

The location of this property was amazing- perfect view of the beach and ocean. It’s much better in person than in the photos. My only complaint was the wifi not working, but other than that we had such a nice time. We will defiantly be coming back for future stays.
