We did experience that the amount of chlorine put in the pool and hot tub was a little too much for our skin, but others may not have that issue. I would just be mindful if you have kids with sensitive skin.”

”The Mar Monte Hotel exceeded our expectations. I chose it to see, in person, how the renovation combined modern amenities with its 1930s structure. And the location next to the ocean, in beautiful Santa Barbara, is idyllic. Standouts were the lighting, tile, marble, furnishings, and mostly the two restaurants. ”Very nice and friendly staff welcomed us. We had a king room and it was spacious enough for two people. Microwave, fridge and coffeemaker in room were plus. The outside area is nice and many people were enjoying it during the day. We used the bikes for a few hours, very nice to provide them to guests. Only minor complaint is a small breakfast area which gets quite crowded.”
