”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Teach Titanic cottage. It was thoughtfully renovated keeping some of the original elements of the old historic cottage yet thoroughly modernizing it. ”We enjoyed how quiet the property and surrounding area was. Went for a nice long walk and took in the Bay. The Annex has everything you need, besides a tv, but the view from the windows makes up for that. Tea on the back patio in the evening helped us relax after a day of travel. The following morning we had a lovely breakfast in the main house with lively conversation with the owners. They helped us plan our next day of travel. ”

”Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

”We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary...

”Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
