I had an extremely disappointing experience with OZ Hotel Management in Cartagena.
I booked a four night stay but was forced to leave after the first night due to a genuine family emergency. I immediately informed hotel management and requested reimbursement for the unused nights. Despite the circumstances, they refused to refund even a single night and showed zero empathy or flexibility.
I understand policies exist, but hospitality is about people, not just rules. The complete lack of compassion and unwillingness to work with a guest during a family emergency was shocking and unprofessional.
Customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, and communication felt cold and transactional. This experience left a very bad impression and is not what I expect from a hotel that claims to value guests.
I would strongly caution traveler, especially those who may need flexibility to think twice before booking here. If something unexpected happens, do not expect understanding or support.
