”The first room we got checked into smelled like vomit, straight up. We could pinpoint it was coming from a side table. We contacted the front desk and they put us in another room right away.
The furniture in the rooms is super pleasant and modern which is a nice contrast against the old building. The bar is awesome! ”

”I can’t say enough amazing things about the Lyle. The staff is the best in the business and the space is so artfully designed and comfortable! Their restaurant and bar is a vibe and has the best food and drinks. I love the care and attention every single person pays to providing a stellar guest experience. It’s the only place I will stay when I’m in DC and I look forward to my next visit!”

”Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that.
Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to...

”Nice and quiet. Small rooms and much older hotel, but some rooms may be bigger if you pay more I’m not sure. It does show some signs of aging but that didn’t bother me at all. The breakfast good quality and all I need. All the options were fairly healthy although they ran out of boiled eggs quick every morning! Free coffee always ready whenever, love that. They also did a free wine hour from 6-7p, which was just nice to have offered. Staff were professional and personable. I probably won’t stay...

”Oh my goodness. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found SIXTY. My experience began with correspondence with Johnny, the Front Desk Manager.
