Cozy getaway in Cartersville and near Lakepoint Sports

This is the perfect getaway spot for folks who just want to chill and relax for a few days, a week or a month. We are also 15 minutes away from Lakepoint Sports Complex. Big enough to host a family reunion, but cozy enough for a romantic weekend with your honey. Each room has its own décor theme, the master suite is INCREDIBLE, and the house has plenty to keep you entertained like pool, games, and dish network. We have worked hard to make our home your home.

This property was previously listed for many years in VRBO with many happy guest and created a new listing with new owners.

Peace and quiet

The location is secluded in the woods. It was so peaceful, we enjoyed the daily visits of the mother and baby deer as they grazed on the grass in the yard. The house was exactly as advertised, very spacious and contained everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

A retreat in the middle of a forest preserve

And only 20 minutes from Cartersville, which in itself is a wonderfully surprising town. As we explored the house we kept saying, “Oooooo” and “Wow!” 3 levels of living space on top of a holler in the woods…down a crushed gravel one lane road. Look out for deer. We property is well lighted and the inside is even more charming than the outside—which is amazing. Bring your own soap, shampoo and aluminum foil.

Great Family Home

This was the 4th time staying here. We love the home layout for our family and really enjoy the outdoor space with the firepit and the hiking. Jeba is an excellent host and is quick to respond. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful stay

Pictures do not do justice. Lovely property, very comfortable and quiet. We stayed 3 nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nicely decorated. Off the beaten path but close enough to conveniences. We will definitely be back to stay longer and check out the beautiful preserve behind the property.

Deep in the Woods

This beautiful house is your reward after driving deep in the woods. Comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and great activities both indoors and outside -- it's a perfect retreat. And the deer visiting in the morning are an added bonus.

Disappointing

Property in need of a lot of maintenance and the pictures are deceiving. They must have been taken a while back because the house doesn't look like that now. Upstairs in the "tree house" room, there has obviously been flooding in the bathroom. Mold on the walls, tub area, closet. The bedroom has been painted, but mold is visible on the window and the baseboards; stains are bleeding through. Stairs leading up to that room are very steep and the railing is not secure. The entire house smells musty and "wet". Walking in the kitchen the first time, there was a dead cockroach, another 2 days later. Light over sink not working, Lighting overall in the house is inadequate and is missing compared to the pictures. Laundry area very dark. Master bedroom has plywood on the floor, apparently stained to look like wood. Lacking any curtains, except sheers. Mattress pad stained and torn. Shower control in bathroom totally missing. Kitchen pans old, warped, peeling. Knives stained, rusting. TVs don't work except for main level. Fireplace in Master does not work. (reached out to Owner first night, Property Manager never responded) All the vents for the a/c are rusting and have mold. Definitely cannot recommend this home.

20 mins to Lakepoint!

Myself and my two boys stayed here for 5 nights. My older son was playing at Lakepoint. It was a perfect house for a “vacation” while on a baseball trip! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and well equipped with everything we would need. Internet worked great snd they had Roku with Netflix. Amazing water pressure in the master shower. 20 mins to Lakepoint 20 mins to Publix 45 mins to Marietta 60 mins to Airport This house is secluded and in the middle of gorgeous nature. We loved the house so much that we plan on staying again when we come to Lakepoint!

Family Time

Beautiful clean home located in the woods of Georgia. This home was close to where my family lives so it was perfect. We were a multi generational groups staying at the house and it was perfect, everyone had there own space. The pool table on the first floor was a hit for all ages.

Great place to Relax

Our stay was great. Having bedrooms and bathrooms on every floor was very useful. My daughter and her family had the lower level which was very much like their own apartment space. My boyfriend and I took the upper level away from the kids. And the main level was a great place for all to come together and have our meals. It was great not having neighbors so close, and you really felt like you were at peace with nature in the woods. I would highly recommend this place again!

Very nice stay near Cartersville. It was much closer to town than I expected which was a nice surprise. Beautiful property. Room for all 6 of us to spread out. The downstairs den was a big hit.

A wonderful stay

We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and needed a place close enough to the venue. We were so pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the location. It felt like we were miles away from nowhere. The cabin is absolutely beautiful with all the amenities we needed for our short stay. We would have loved to have stayed longer to explore the wooded area surrounding the cabin. We definitely recommend this place, especially if anyone is coming with a family for a wedding. We were about 20 minutes from our venue in Rockmart (“In The Woods”). Kudos to the host for making us feel at home:)

Private comfortable home

My daughter was married on 11/4 and this home proved to be the perfect rest and relaxation spot for part of our bridal party to enjoy. Convenient enough to town. But secluded enough to feel as though youre in the middle of a forest. We would definitely recommend this home.
