”Beautiful little slice of heaven in the middle of the forest. I don’t know that I read somewhere, but there is no AC in the lodge which was disappointing to hear when I got there after a hot day of hiking however, it cooled off nicely at night and fans were provided. There is no cell service and what Wi-Fi they think they have really does not exist. It was difficult to map hikes without driving 10 miles out of town to get on some sort of Wi-Fi. There is no service around that entire area that...

”We love the sound of the Sauk River rushing by. It is otherwise quiet here. A friendly husky came by to say hi to us a couple times when we were sitting outside. It was a restful stay.The cabin itself is comfortable, well supplied and clean. This is the second time we've come here. I'm sure we will return again.”

”The cabin was a fun escape from our usual hotel stays on our trips. It was quaint but enough space for us all. The cabin we stayed in had two bunk beds so it could sleep a family of 6. We really enjoyed the fire pit and eating dinner on our picnic bench. We didn’t get to enjoy the pizza they have on site which they make on the weekends only but it was a great place to stay not too far from Lassen.”
