”We really enjoyed our stay in the historic cabins. Managing expectations is key to staying here - there is no cell and extremely limited WiFi, and the cabins are old with unlevel floors, antique kitchenettes and extremely tiny and outdated bathrooms (although from the photos it appears we may have been in an unrenovated cabin). ”Beautiful location! We were the only ones it seemed staying in the cabins. Plenty of trails to explore within walking distance; my dog loved it. There were issues with the original cabin we were to stay in and the host resolved it by providing a different cabin at the same price with clear communication. ”

”We love the sound of the Sauk River rushing by. It is otherwise quiet here. A friendly husky came by to say hi to us a couple times when we were sitting outside. It was a restful stay.The cabin itself is comfortable, well supplied and clean. This is the second time we've come here. I'm sure we will return again.”
