”Rooms are very small, hot, and have thin walls - you can hear everything going on in the other lodge rooms. Didn’t realize when I booked that it is a shared bathroom. When I went to leave, there was a mouse in my car. Other than that, okay.”

”The cabin was clean and well-organized, with super friendly staff and a convenient gas station/store nearby. I would easily rate this cabin a perfect 10/10. My partner and I will definitely be coming back. The staff kindly accommodated our early arrival with a 3 PM check-in, even though we got there ahead of time from out of town, and they were more than happy to assist us.”

”Beautiful location! We were the only ones it seemed staying in the cabins. Plenty of trails to explore within walking distance; my dog loved it. There were issues with the original cabin we were to stay in and the host resolved it by providing a different cabin at the same price with clear communication. ”

”We love the sound of the Sauk River rushing by. It is otherwise quiet here. A friendly husky came by to say hi to us a couple times when we were sitting outside. It was a restful stay.The cabin itself is comfortable, well supplied and clean. This is the second time we've come here. I'm sure we will return again.”
