The distance from St.Moritz train station might seem too close to take a bus, but there is uphill all the way to the hotel so I would not recommend to take a walk when you carry a big baggage.

”A classic Swiss alpine town hotel with really friendly staff. Bären has seen its best days but is an inexpensive and comfortable enough alternative to resort's luxury digs. It is the last hotel in the main throughfare after Hotel Kulm. Access is easy as the entrance is right on the street. Bus stop right at the hotel. Clean old school rooms with small balconies. A big swimming pool is definitely a nice extra. No vegetables at breakfast.”

The location was excellent and the view from our room was breathtaking. The hotel was somewhat detached from the town but there was a shuttle that ran between the hotel and few places in the town center multiple times a day.
